Asso CETAsso CET is organized by AMUPMDC for private medical and dental colleges of Maharashtra. Admission through Asso CET will be done in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BSc Nursing. Candidates who are eligible for the medical, dental, and health science programmes can fill the application form of Asso CET. Common Entrance Test Applicants are issued admit card, which can be obtained online and carried to the assigned exam center. Declaration of Asso CET result is followed by filling of preference forms, counselling and seat allotment.

AMUPMDC ASSO UG CET, if conducted, is a national level medical entrance exam. It is usually held in the pen and paper based mode. Previously it was expected that application forms will be available in March, but now it is anticipated they will be available in April. It is possible that this year only single common entrance test MHT CET could be used for admissions for all seats. Latest update – AMUPMDC is expected to publish notification regarding Asso CET in April / May. Eligible candidates will be asked to apply via the Asso CET application form in the prescribed mode. As of now there is no notice on AMUPMDC website (www.amupmdc.org) or any other official channel, regarding date of ASSO CET and related information.

AMUPMDC Asso CET

Official details of Asso CET have not yet been announced. Information of Asso CET eligibility, exam pattern, application form, admit card, results given here are as per last year’s brochure and are only for reference. Please check the page again for updated and new information.

Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra conducts the Asso CET every year, in the month of May, for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BSc-Nursing courses admissions in participating colleges.

Seat distribution in colleges for admission through Asso CET are as given below. The exact number of seats college-wise is announced at the time of counselling.

Asso CET Application Form – The online application form of Asso CET is expected to be available in the month of April. Candidates should determine their eligibility before filling the Asso CET Application Form. The total fee for exam was Rs 3000 last year. Application fee is to be paid during submission of form.

Asso CET Admit Card – Applicants will be issued the admit card / hall ticket of Asso CET for the exam, which must be carried to the examination center.

Asso CET Result – The medical entrance exam contains multiple choice questions from physics, chemistry, and biology. On the basis of marks scored in the test, result of Asso CET and merit list will be published.

Must have passed the qualifying XII Std. (H.S.C)

General Category: Must  have  passed  in  the  Subject  of  Physics,  Chemistry,  Biology  /  Bio  –  Technology  and  English  individually  and  must  have  obtained  a  minimum of 50 % marks.

Reserved Category (Constitutional Reservation): Must  have  passed  in  the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks.

Before filling up the online application form of Asso CET, candidate must ensure that he / she fulfills the required eligibility conditions. The details of age limit, educational qualification are given here.

  • Candidate must be Indian National / NRI / Foreign national.
  • To be eligible for MBBS , BDS, B.Sc Nursing age limit applicable is as follows – candidate must be born on or before December 31, 1999. For admissions to BAMS candidate must be born on or before October 1, 1999. This is not yet officially announced, however, expected as per previous year’s eligibility criteria. Stay tuned to know changes to this, if any.

Educational Qualification

  • For MBBS, BDS, and BAMS – Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in physics, chemistry, biology taken together in the qualifying (class 10+2 or equivalent) examination. Candidates belonging to reserved category need to have obtained 40%.
  • For B.Sc Nursing – Candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks in physics, chemistry, biology, and English taken together in the qualifying (class 10+2 or equivalent) examination. Candidates belonging to reserved category need to have obtained 40%.
  • For BPTh, BOTh, BASLP – Candidate must have passed in qualifying examination.

Asso CET Information Brochure will be published in February / March. Given below is last year’s brochure for your reference. The brochure is officially published each year by the Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Maharashtra (AMUPMDC). Candidates must read the brochure carefully before applying for the exam.

Exam Pattern of Asso CET

It is important to understand the exam pattern so that one can prepare for the exam. Medical aspirants should study the board exam syllabus and practice objective type questions on Phsyics, Chemistry and Biology. Although the exact Asso CET exam pattern will be notified in the brochure, last year’s exam pattern can be referred to take off your preparations.

  • Syllabus for the Asso CET is based on HSC Examination of Maharashtra State Board for the academic year for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • The Asso CET consists of one common question paper in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) 50 in Physics, 50 in Chemistry & 100 in Biology – expected from past year’s paper.
  • Duration of examination is of 3 hours.
  • The medium of examination is English Only.
