BCECEB PGMAT 2016 is the Post Graduate Medical Admission Test. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board will conduct the PGMAT 2016 as per the schedule for admission to MD, MS, PGD, MDS and MD Ayurveda courses. Details of the BCECEB PGMAT 2016 entrance exam are given here for interested and eligible candidates who wish to get admission in first year of the following Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma Courses.

Entrance Exam

For MD / MS / PG Diploma

  • The medium of Examination will be English.
  • There will be a common entrance Examination for all the courses consisting of two portions : Pre / Para-clinical and Clinical.
  • The Examination shall be of M.B.B.S. Standard and shall cover all the subjects of M.B.B.S. Course.
  • There may be more than one set of question paper wherein questions remaining the same, their serial numbers may vary.

The Examination will be of only one paper consisting of questions in two portions as follows. The duration will be of 3 hours and 15 minutes . In pre and para clinical subjects there will be a total of 100 questions and in clinical subjects there will be a total of 150 questions.

  • The Examination will be of only one paper consisting of questions in two portions as follows. The duration will be of 3 hours and 15 minutes . In Portion-I there will be a total of 100 questions and in Portion-II, there will be a total of 150 questions.

  • There may be more than one set of question paper wherein questions remaining the same, their serial numbers may vary.
  • The Examination will be of only one paper consisting of questions in two portions as follows. The duration will be of 3 hours and 15 minutes . In Portion-I there will be a total of 100 questions and in Portion-II there will be a total of 150 questions.

Marking Scheme

  • Each question shall be of four (4) marks, which will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • One (1) mark will be deducted from the total marks obtained, for each incorrect answer.
  • Zero (0) mark will be given for questions not answered.
  • More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect answer and one mark will be deducted for every such answer.
