Common Law Admission Test, commonly known as CLAT is an all India entrance examination conducted by National Law Universities (NLUs) in rotation to select candidates for admissions to UG and PG law courses.

CLAT 2015 Application Form Filling Dates – All candidates aspiring to take CLAT 2015 exam, will be required to submit the filled in online CLAT 2015 Application Form by March 31, 2015.

Application fee for UR/ OBC / PWD is Rs 4000, whereas it is Rs 3500 for SC / ST candidates.

Online application form for CLAT 2015 will be available at www.clat.ac.in following the official notification for Common Law Admission Test.

CLAT 2015 Online Application Form

Application Form of CLAT 2015 will be available from January 1, 2015.

The organizing NLU has announced the details of details of CLAT 2015 application form. Shortly the information brochure for admission session 2015 will also be available. For the law aspirants who have already started looking for details of CLAT application form, can refer the details given here. The final update will be made in the first week of January. This page is being updated as per details made available by CLAT.

Application Fee for CLAT 2015 Application form is to paid online.

  • Candidates belonging to General/OBC/PWD and other categories, are required to pay Rs. 4,000/- while submitting the online application form of CLAT 2015.
  • The exam application fee is Rs 3,500/- for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories.
  • Remember, the mentioned fee structure is not inclusive of the bank charges or additional transaction costs for remitting the fees offline/online through payment gateways.

Mode of Payment through CLAT Website

CLAT 2015 aspirants will be required to pay fees through CLAT website at three major stages i.e. during submission of the online application form, then during downloading the previous year’s question papers and again when participating in the counseling session. However, to appear for the exam, only the application fee is compulsory. Rest will depend upon option to download papers and then further while participating in the counselling process. Candidates can opt either online or offline fee payment mode on the website www.clat.ac.in.

  • Online Payment – Those who go for the online payment, they can do so through net-banking, debit card, credit card etc. wherein they will have to bear the additional transaction costs for remitting the fees through payment gateways.
  • Offline Payment – Those who opt to pay fee through offline mode, will have to download the ‘Bank Challan’ that will be generated with the required information, as filled in by the candidate, and make the payment with additional bank charges at any branch of the State Bank of India.
  • After remitting the due fee at the bank, the candidates will be required to fill-in the details at the relevant section of the website.

Application form of CLAT 2015 Filling and Submission Procedure

CLAT 2015 aspirants will be able to access the CLAT 2015 Online Application Form on the CLAT website (www.clat.ac.in) between January and March 2015 along with the information brochure. Candidates must note that the CLAT office will not be providing any hard copy of the application form for CLAT 2015 and information brochure. Candidates can also access the CLAT-2015 information brochure (not the application form) at the respective website of all the participating NLUs.

Mode of Application

Online application is the sole mode that the CLAT 2015 aspirants can resort to. Candidates need to register themselves on the CLAT website by creating a login account. The onine application form for CLAT 2015 could be accessed only when you have created your username and a password to login on the official website of the CLAT office.

Candidates are not required to send any hard copy of the filled in online CLAT 2015 application form or certificates/documents to the CLAT Office. Remember you can submit the filled in application form online along with the required certificates and document between January and March 31, 2015.

  • Application submitted beyond the last date and time, will be left unconsidered.
  • Applicants must stick to the guidelines laid down for filling the online application form for CLAT 2015.
  • The organising university will not be responsible for application submitted incomplete and beyond the last date.
  • On successful submission of the online CLAT 2015 application form, candidates would be able to access or download their hall ticket/admit card using their username and password.
  • Candidates are advised to take the printout of the hall-ticket/admit card to the examination hall.

Documents to be Uploaded with CLAT Application Form 2015

Candidates applying for seeking admission to under-graduate and post-graduate degrees are required to submit scanned copies of some documents in PDF format and / or jpeg format during the submission of online application form for CLAT 2015 and some certificates/documents during the final admission at opted universities. Please go through the below given selected list of certificates/documents to be submitted.

  • Birth Certificate (In case the birth certificate is not available then Standard X passing certificate issued by a Board or Passport can be uploaded).
  • Xth class Marksheet.
  • Qualifying Examination Marksheet/Certificate such as 10+2 or its equivalent examination certificate from a recognized Board (for UG Courses).
  • Qualifying Examination Marksheet/Certificate such as LL.B. or its equivalent examination certificate from a recognized University (for PG Courses).
  • Passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) {JPG Format, size less than 100 KB}.
  • Signature of candidate {JPG Format, size less than 100 KB}.

Following documents need to be uploaded, as per eligibility.

  • Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC).
  • Disability Certificate (Persons With Disability, P.W.D.).
  • Special Category certificate like E.B.C.; B.C.; W.B.C.; D.F.F.; S.E.B.C.; Ancestral residents of village Sidhuwal, District Patiala; Son / Daughter of Defense Personnel Deployed in U.P. or Defense Personnel of U.P. either retired or killed/ disabled in action; Dependant of Freedom Fighter of U.P. and Kashmiri Migrant.
  • Certificates in support of one’s claim for NRI/NRI Sponsored Candidate.
  • Domicile Certificate in support of one’s claim for consideration under State Quota.
