Central University of Kerala Admission 2015

Central University of Kerala offers six Integrated MPhil/PhD Programmes and 10 MA/MSc Programmes in 10 departments under four schools. The students gaining admission to the Integrated MPhil/PhD programme have to successfully complete the MPhil phase in order to gain admission to the PhD phase. The students too can choose to discontinue the programme after completion of the MPhil Phase.

The information in the links given below are based on the previous year details, the updates for the year 2015 are yet to be announced by the university. This page is updated on regular basis, University has only announced the Eligibility for the Courses which is provided below.

1 Integrated BA/MA in International Relations 40 At least 50% marks or equivalent in Plus Two from a recognized Board with 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates.
B. PG Programmes
1 M.A. (Economics) 26 Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
2 M.A. (English & Comparative 26 Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in English from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
3 M.A. (Linguistics and Language
Technology)
26 Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in English from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
4 M.A. (Hindi & Comparative 26 Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade with a minimum of 50% marks in Hindi from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
5 M.A.( International  Relations & Political science) 26 Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
6 M.S.W. (Social Work) 26 Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
7 M.Ed.(English)*** 8 B.Ed Degree in the subject concerned, with a minimum of 55%  marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
M.Ed.(Science)*** 10 B.Ed Degree in the subject concerned, with a minimum of 55%  marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.

8 M.Sc (Animal Science) 20 B.Sc. in Zoology with Botany and Chemistry/Biochemistry as subsidiary subjects or any subject under Life Sciences with Zoology as a major/core subject with minimum of  55% marks or equivalent grade in the subject, from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
9 M.Sc. (Biochemistry and Molecular
Biology)
20 B.Sc. with Chemistry/Biochemistry/any subject under Life Sciences with Chemistry/Biochemistry as a major/ core subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in the subject, from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
10 M.Sc.(Chemistry) 16 B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate for Science subjects, with Chemistry as the Main or one of the Main subjects, and Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
11 M.Sc. (Computer Science) 20 B.Sc. Computer Science/ BCA / B.Tech. Computer Science or equivalent with 55%marks or an equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
12 M.Sc. (Environmental Science ) 20 Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering/Agricultural Sciences/ Geology/ Geography with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
13 M.Sc. (Genomic Science) 20 B.Sc.  with Biotechnology/Biochemistry/any subject under Life Sciences with Biotechnology/Biochemistry as a major/core subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in the subject, from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
14 M.Sc. (Mathematics) 26 B.Sc. in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in the optional (main and subsidiaries) subjects from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates
15 M.Sc. (Plant Science) 20 B.Sc. in Botany/Plant Science or any subject under Life Sciences with Botany/Plant Science as a major/core subject  with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in the subject, from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
16 M.Sc. (Physics) 20 B.Sc. Physics with minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in the subject from a recognized University. 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks is granted to SC/ST candidates.
