IPU CET Engineering Exam Eligibility: For IPU CET engineering admissions, the candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board with a minimum of 55% in PCM. The admission is purely on basis of merit scored in the IPU CET exam. The exam is of two and half hour duration and has 150 Multiple choice questions. For each correct answer candidate gets +4 marks and for each incorrect answer one mark is deducted. Unlike JEE Main, the exam is conducted only in pen and paper mode. IPU CET is not conducted online.
85% seats in the engineering courses are reserved for Delhi candidates in Delhi colleges of GGSIPU.
The syllabus of IPU CET exam is broadly based on the common syllabi of class 11th and 12th of central boards. Questions are equally asked from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The average level of difficulty of the exam is almost the same as other national engineering entrance exams such as the AIEEE (now JEE Main). Candidates who will be appearing for IPU CET 2015 need to prepare on basis of CBSE class 11th and 12th syllabi.

IPU-CET is the entrance exam that is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for taking admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program for the academic session 2015-15. IPU CET 2015 Engineering entrance exam result will be declared on 26th May, 2015.

* Syllabi for CET Code 128, for the prescribed subjects shall be of Diploma level. Syllabi for CET Code 130 and 131, for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Biotechnology shall be as specified by CBSE for class 11th and 12th under the 10+2 Scheme for the students passing class 12th in the year 2015.
Result shall be declared on or before the notified date.
