JEE Main 2014 Online Exam Analysis – 11 April (Day 2)

The online mode of JEE Main 2014 was held on 11th April after 9th April. Again, to the delight of students, no technical glitches were reported. The paper went smoothly across all centers. The CBT was conducted in two shifts, morning and evening. In both, like the offline exam, total 90 questions were given to the students, 30 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

According to students who took the test, Chemistry section was the easiest and Physics was the toughest. Some students said that they had attempted all the questions of Chemistry section and were confident of scoring really high in that.

Mathematics again was of moderate difficulty level and though some found the section easier than expected, some were a little doubtful about how high they could score.

The JEE Main 2014 expected cut offs are around 110. Officially, CBSE will be publishing the answer keys on 25th April. The facility for Downloading JEE Main 2014 Question Papers, Keys and OMR Answer Sheets will be available from 25th April 2014. Last Date for Downloading JEE Main 2014 Question Paper, Answer Keys and OMR Answer Sheets is 27th April 2014.

According to a large number of students, the JEE Main papers this year are easier than expected. Though analysts and teachers say that they are on expected lines. The average score by a student is around 150, and the cut offs could go around 105-110 for a General category student.
