LAWCET 2014 Result

Check here the result of AP LAWCET 2014. The entrance exam has been conducted on 8th June, 2014.

The result of AP Law Common Entrance Test has been declared on 22 June, 2014.

Qualifying marks in LAWCET-2014: The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of total 120 marks). There will be no minimum qualifying marks for S.Cs & S.Ts for ranking.

LAWCET-2014 Results:

Evaluation: Every care will be taken to avoid errors in evaluation, checking, scrutiny, tabulation and ranking. Hence, request for retotalling or revaluation or personal identification of scripts will not be entertained.

Ranking: The Candidates will be ranked in the order of merit based on the marks obtained in the LAWCET-2014. In case of tie the relative rank will be decided as mentioned below:

  • By considering the marks secured in Part-C of LAWCET and if the tie still persists marks obtained in Part-B in LAWCET shall be taken into consideration.
  • If the tie still persists they may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission. 

Rank obtained in LAWCET-2014 is valid for admission into 3 year / 5 year Law Courses, as the case may be, for the academic year 2014-2015 only.

The Candidates are advised to download the Rank Card from the web site after one week of the publication of results. In case of the any difficulty in downloading the Rank Card the candidates are advised to contact the Convener’s office.

The answer scripts of candidates taking the LAWCET-2014 examination will be preserved for 6 months from the date of announcement of LAWCET-2014 results.

The conduct of LAWCET-2014 is subject to orders and instructions issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.

All disputes arising out of any matter concerning LAWCET-2014 shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the A.P. High Court only. In such disputes, only Convener, LAWCET-2014, S.V. University Tirupati and Secretary, APSCHE can be impleaded as respondents.
