Uttarakhand Technical University has announced that it will hold UKSEE 2017. UKSEE 2017 will be for 1st Year admissions to B. Pharma., BHMCT, and MCA ,MBA, M. Tech, M. The entrance examination for UG/PG admission in the state of Uttarakhand is called as UKSEE. The abbreviation stands for Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination. For some courses, the entrance exam is held. However, for some, the admission is granted on the basis of national level entrance exam score.

UKSEE Eligibility Criteria 2017
The eligibility criteria of UKSEE, which all the candidates must fulfill is as below:
UKSEE UG Eligibility Criteria:
B.Tech – Candidates must have qualified 10+2/equivalent and secure satisfying score in JEE Main 2017.
B.Tech (Lateral Entry) – Candidates should have qualified 3 year Diploma in Engineering of State Board of Technology, from an institute recognized by AICTE. OR The candidate must have passed 3 years B.Sc. Degree and must had Mathematics in class XII.
BHMCT – The applicant must have passed 10+2, with a minimum of 50% marks. The minimum percentage will be calculated from the best four, which will include one language and one compulsory subject. Passing in the English language is compulsory.
B.Pharm – The marks secured by the candidates in qualifying examination should be more than pass marks, individually in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology or Mathematics both in theory and practical.
B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) – Only those candidates will be granted admission in B.Pharm 2nd year, directly, who will be able to secure 60% marks in Diploma. The Diploma should be recognized by PCI.
UKSEE PG Eligibility Criteria:
M.Tech and M.Pharm – Candidates must be a graduate in respective subject and should have qualified GATE or UPTU Entrance Exam.
M.B.A and MCA – Candidate must have complete graduation from a recognized institute. The candidates will also have to fulfill other norms laid down by AICTE.
Note: Only the resident of Uttarakhand will be considered for admission in Lateral Entry courses.

UKSEE 2017 Application Form
The application form of UKSEE 2017 will be provided online. The candidates will be able to access it from the link which will be uploaded here, on April 15, 2017. It is important that the candidates submit the application form and fee before the lapse of the deadline, which is April 30, 2017. Else, the application request will not be considered.
The application fee for the exam is Rs. 1500 for General and OBC category candidates. However, for the candidates SC/ST category, the fee amount is Rs. 700. The medium to submit the application fee will be online, like Debit/Credit Card, Net Baking etc.
UKSEE 2017 Exam Pattern
Leaving B.Tech admission aside, the UKSEE 2017 will be held for 9 papers with objective type questions. The M.Tech/M.Pharm admission will also be done through GATE. However, those who did not appear for GATE or were not able to score well can apply for UKSEE.
- The examination will be held in offline mode/pen and paper.
- In all the papers, the question will be of objective type. For each question, 4 answer options will be given.
- Each question will be of marks, which will only be allocated for marking the correct answer.
- Negative marking will not be done for choosing incorrect answer option.
Note: Despite no negative marking, a record of correct and incorrect answers will be maintained. It will be used to break the tie between two or more candidates.

UKSEE 2017 Result
The result of UKSEE 2017 will be announced online. First the score of the candidates will be announced and then the merit list will be released. The merit list will contain the names of those candidates who will score marks more than the cutoff and will be called for counselling. In the counselling of UKSEE 2017, the seats will be allocated on the basis of merit secured by the candidate.
