WBJEE EVETS 2016
Candidates can fill their application for Bachelor Degree course of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from the official website wbjeeb.in as per schedule. Those who fill their application on time will be eligible to download the admit card / hall ticket of EVETS 2016 for examination which will be held in the month of July 2016.

WBJEEB EVETS 2016 Application Form – Application form of EVETS 2016 is now available. Candidates must fill correct information in the form after determining eligibility.
WBJEE EVETS 2016 Admit Card – Admit Card for each eligible applicant will be available to download before the examination till the day of exam. Applicant should download the Admit Card and carry it along with him/her to the Examination Centre.
EVETS 2016 Examination Pattern
The test will consist of the two papers namely a) Biological Sciences (100 marks) and b) Physics & Chemistry (100 marks). Each paper will contain fifty (50) questions.
All questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type. Answers are to be marked (bubbled) on OMR Answer Sheets using black /blue ball point pen. OMR answer sheets are read by machine. Hence, improper marking or stray marking may produce wrong result.
Each question will have four answer options of which only one is correct. Each correct response will fetch 2 marks, each incorrect response will fetch (-1/2) mark, whereas no response will fetch zero mark. Multiple responses for any question will fetch (-1/2) mark.
The questions will be in English and Bengali language.
Syllabus – Question will be based on the syllabus of Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE).
WBJEE EVETS Result 2016 – Result of EVETS-2016 will be declared as per schedule mentioned above. The total number of candidates to be merit listed will be decided by appropriate authority.
EVETS Eligibility Criteria
For admission in to B. V. Sc. & A. H. course the candidate must pass H.S. (10+2) examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination recognised by the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Vernacular along with minimum 50% (40% for SC/ST candidates) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.
Age: Not less than 17 years as on 31st December, 2016. There is no upper age limit.
Nationality and domicile: The applicant must be a citizen of India and domicile of West Bengal.
WBJEE EVETS Admissions and Counselling Process
WBJEEB does not conduct counselling or admission for B.V.Sc. & A.H. course. The Board only conducts the entrance examination and publishes the merit list. The counselling is conducted by the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, 68 & 37, Kshudiram Bose Sarani, Kolkata – 700 037, Ph. No. 033 2558 0278. Merit listed candidates are advised to seek detailed information regarding counselling and admission from the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences.
All applicants who appear to be prima-facie eligible are provisionally permitted to sit for the Entrance Examination. If after scrutiny at any stage, it is found that an applicant is otherwise ineligible, his/her candidature will automatically be cancelled even if he/she has appeared at the examination and secured a position in the merit list. As such securing a rank in the merit list in the said examination does not constitute a right/guarantee in favour of the candidate for his/her admission/counselling.
At the time of counseling and admission the candidate shall be required to produce the original mark sheets of all the examinations passed, a document certifying his/her date of birth (Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination), the Admit card of EVETS-2016, Rank card of EVETS-2016, domicile Certificate and other relevant documents (e.g. Caste certificate for reserved category candidate, PwD certificate for PwD category candidates) for the purpose of verification.
