EVETS 2015 – The Joint Entrance Examination for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in West Bengal for the academic session 2014-15 will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
Candidates who wish to appear in the EVETS 2015 examination must fill the online application form released at www.wbresults.co.in / www.wbjeeb.in. Fee for BVSc & AH entrance exam is Rs 506. In case candidate wishes to appear in both EVETS and JENPARH, the fee to be paid is Rs 1006.
Important Notice – All candidates are hereby notified that any dispute regarding fees must be settled at Board office on or before 12 noon of 20th May, 2015. No appeal regarding change of exam category/ late payment of fees by cash due to link failure at Bank will be granted thereafter. All candidates who failed to upload challan details may please note that their fee payment details has been incorporated into the system based on information from the Bank. Notified on 18 May, 2015.

WBJEEB EVETS 2015 Application Form – Application form of EVETS 2015 is available. Last Date to fill Online Application form Candidates must fill correct information in the form after determining eligibility.
WBJEE EVETS 2015 Admit Card – Admit Card for each eligible applicant will be available to download from 22th June 2015 till the day of exam. Applicant should download the Admit Card and carry it along with him/her to the Examination Centre.
EVETS 2015 Examination Pattern
A written test was conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for EVETS.
- Paper 1 – Biological Science of 100 marks.
- Paper 2 – Physics and Chemistry of 100 marks.
All the questions were Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type and were to be answered on OMR Answer Sheet in black/blue ball pen.
WBJEE EVETS Result 2015 – Result of EVETS-2015 is likely to be declared by the last week of June, 2015. The total number of candidates to be merit listed will be decided by appropriate authority.
EVETS Eligibility Criteria.
General Candidates must have passed H.S. (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination recognized by the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth subject) along with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the said qualifying examination (10+2).
For SC and ST candidates the aforesaid percentage of marks will be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates appearing in (10+2) examination in 2015 and subsequently fulfilling the above criteria are also eligible to appear in EVETS-2015.
Age: Candidate must have attained 17 years of age as on 1st July, 2015. There is no upper age limit.
Candidates must have been residing in the State of West Bengal for a minimum period of 10 (ten) years uninterruptedly as on 31 December or their parents must be permanent resident of West Bengal having their permanent home address in the State of West Bengal.
Residential certificate in this regard shall have to be produced in the proforma as printed in the Application Form for EVETS from any of the competent Authorities as mentioned below. No separate supporting documents or residential certificate in any other form will be accepted along with the filled in application form.
WBJEE EVETS Admissions and Counselling Process
Counseling and admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. course for the session 2015-16 in the Faculty of Veterinary & Anamal Sciences, WBUAFS shall take place subject to availability of necessary permission from the Veterinary Council of India. Securing a rank in the merit list in the said examination does not constitute a right/guarantee in favour of the candidate for his/her admission/counselling.
All applicants who appear to be prima-facie eligible are provisionally permitted to sit for the Entrance Examination. If after scrutiny at any stage, it is found that an applicant is otherwise ineligible, his /her candidature will automatically be cancelled even if he/she has appeared at the examination and secured a position in the merit list.
It should be noted that WBJEEB does not conduct the counseling and subsequent admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. course. The Board only conducts the Entrance Examination, evaluates the answer scripts and generates the merit list of the said examination. Based on the merit list the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, 68 & 37, Kshudiram Bose Sarani, Kolkata – 700 037, Ph. No. 033 2558-0278, conducts the counseling and admission process.
At the time of admission a candidate shall be required to produce the original mark sheets of all the examinations passed, a document certifying his/her date of birth. (Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination/), the Admit card of EVETS-2015, Rank card of EVETS-2015, Residential Certificate and other relevant documents (e.g. Caste certificate for reserved category candidate; PwD certificate for PwD category candidates) for the purpose of verification.
