AGRICET 2019 Qualifying Marks
In AGRICET 2019, candidates are required to score a minimum of 25% of the maximum marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories have no qualifying marks. But the admission of SC/ST category candidates will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories. Candidates who come under the category of Qualifying the examination will only be called for further Counseling and admission process.
AGRICET 2019 Result
After the successful completion of the exams, AGRICET 2019 results has been released. A Merit List is published on the Official website of the conducting body. Candidates who qualified the exam are then called for counseling and further admission process. Those candidates who are called for the counseling round are informed before and candidates are advised to be present for the counseling at the exact date and venue. After the declaration of results, qualified candidates are called for counseling which will be held at auditorium, RARS, LAM, Guntur. There will also be tie resolving criteria if in a case two or more candidates secure same marks then tie will be resolved on the basis of following points listed below.
- The total marks scored by the candidates in AGRICET 2019.
- The percentage of aggregate marks scored in the qualifying examination.
- Overall Grade Point of SSC.
- If the tie still does not get resolved then candidates of older age will be given preference over the younger one.
AGRICET 2019 Vacancy Details
The total number of vacancies released for B.Sc 4 year program was 184. Total 112 seats were available for government agricultural colleges in which 97 were for Agriculture Diploma holders, 13 for Seed Technology and 02 for organic Farming Diploma. Private agricultural colleges released a total of 72 seats in which 65% will be filled under Convenor Quota at the time of counseling and rest 35% will be filled by Management of Private Agricultural Colleges by the merit list of AGRICET 2019 examination as per the rules of the University.
AGRICET 2019 Reservations
Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University will also be giving reservations to the various groups of categories. As per the rules of Government of Andhra Pradesh, the total number of vacancy will be allocated to the candidates in the ratio of 85:15 for the local candidates and unreserved category candidates respectively.
AGRICET 2019 Answer key
After the completion of the exams, AGRICET 2019 Answer key is released by the conducting body. Answer Key will be released after the few weeks of the exam. It will be issued for only those candidates who have appeared for the examination. Candidates will be able to check the answer key by entering their required credentials. The answer key is very helpful for the candidates who have to take the test as they can estimate the number of marks which will be scored by them and whether they will be eligible for counseling and further admission process or not.
AGRICET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the AGRICET 2019 candidates should make sure that they fulfill the eligibility Criteria as per laid by the norms of conducting body. Candidates are advised to carefully look at the criteria and then he/she should apply for the AGRICET 2019.
- Candidates should have passed two-year Diploma in Agriculture/Seed Technology/Organic Farming from ANGRAU/PJTSAU (those who are going to complete the Diploma Requirements in 2018-19 Academic Year can also apply by submitting a Completion Certificate from the concerned Head of the Institute)
- Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December 2019 with an upper age limit 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of S.C, S.T and 27 years in respect of PH candidates.
AGRICET 2019 Application Form
Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University invites Applications for AGRICET 2019. Candidates should make sure that they fill and submit the application forms till or before the last date. The AGRICET 2019 Application form is available online on the official website. After successful completion of online submission of application, the candidate must send the hardcopy of the submitted online application along with the following documents (by Regd.Post / Speed Post) so as to reach

Application Fee: Rs 500 is the application fee for general category candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST and PH will be required to pay Rs. 250. Last Year candidates also had a provision to pay the Application fee with late fees so general category candidates were required to pay Rs 1000. Candidates belonging to SC/ST and PH have to pay Rs 500.
Documents to be attached with the Application Form: Candidates should ensure that they submit the required documents listed below with the Application form.
- Hard Copy of Online submitted Application form
- Proof of Age (Xerox copy of SSC certificate)
- Attested copy of the marks statement of X standard and Diploma Course (or) Completion Certificate of Diploma issued by the Head of the Institute
- Latest character certificate issued by the Head of the Institute last attended indicating that he/she has never been found guilty of misconduct during the study period and never been fined or punished.
- Latest caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/BC’s) issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer
- Proof of local status (last 7 years) through study or residence
- Certificates issued by the concerned authorities in the case of Special categories like PH, NCC, SPORTS and CAP.
- Self attested passport size photograph
- Payment acknowledgement (Transaction ID / UTR) for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC/ST/PH) paid through online.
AGRICET 2019 Admit Card
Hall Ticket will only be issued to those candidates who will submit the Application Form with all the required documents till or before the last date of Submission. AGRICET 2019 Admit Cards will be made available on the Official website. The link for the same will also be provided on the Admit card page when the Admit Cards are released. Candidates will also receive the Admit Cards via post. Those candidates who do not receive the admit card by post can download the same from the official website. The conducting body will also release a list of candidates which will contain the name of candidates and their hall tickets numbers.
AGRICET 2019 Exam Pattern
Before starting the preparation for AGRICET 2019, it will be beneficial for the candidates if they will have a look at the exam pattern to have an idea about the exam. Candidates can check the exam pattern in brief which is mentioned below.
The Mode of Exam: It will be an Offline exam .i.e. Pen paper test objective type in which each question will consist of 4 options with one correct answer.
Duration of Exam: 1 Hour 30 min (90 minutes)
Number of Questions: 120
The Medium of Exam: The exam will be in Telugu medium.
Marking Scheme: All the questions in the exam will be of 01 marks each.
Note: The OMR sheet of the candidates will be preserved for one year from the date of declaration of results.
