ICAR AICE SRF/JRF (PGS) 2020 Exam Pattern
In order to prepare for the exam, the candidate should have an understanding of the exam pattern. Detailed exam pattern can be checked from below.
- The exam will be the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The candidate will get 3 hours to complete the exam.
- For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks. For every, incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
- Questions which will be there multiple-choice questions. There will be a total of 200 questions, which are divided into 2 sections.
Section A: First 20 MCQs are common to all 16 major subjects. The questions assess the level of the candidate’s awareness about the environment and its application to society. The questions are based on general knowledge in the domain of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries, and Allied Sciences, etc. including current events and matters of everyday observation and experience.
Section B: Remaining 180 MCQs belong to Major Subject Group, as applicable; and are based on the syllabus of different sub-subjects listed under that Major Subject Group.

The candidate is given an option to select the exam center of his/her choice, they can select any four cities of their choice for ICAR AICE SRF/JRF (PGS) 2020.
