AIEEA UG 2020 Counselling Schedule, Dates
Candidates whose name is included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Those who score zero or negative marks in the AIEEA UG 2020 cannot participate in counselling. Candidates can check the schedule for AIEEA UG 2020 counselling from the table below.

AIEEA UG 2020 Counselling Process
The counselling for AIEEA UG 2020 is conducted in online mode only. The admission to the desired university and course is provided on the basis of merit in the entrance examination and availability of seats at the candidate’s merit rank at the time of counselling. The process for counselling for AIEEA UG 2020 includes –
- Registration
- Choice Filling
- Seat Allotment
- Reporting at the allotted University for document verification, and payment of fees.
AIEEA UG Counselling 2020 Registration and Choice Filling
Qualified candidates who wish to participate in AIEEA UG 2020 counselling need to register first. It can be done online at ICAR official website. Once the regstration part is done, aspirants need to fill in choice of course / college as per the preference and lock their choices. You can select as many choices as many as you want to.
Counselling registration fee: Rs. 400
Mode of payment: Candidates can pay the counselling registration fee by online mode using credit card / debit card / net banking.
How to Register for AIEEA UG 2020 Counselling?
To register for AIEEA UG counselling 2020, you may simply follow the instructions as provided below:
Step 1: Click on the direct link on this page to register online.
Steo 2: Next, you need to enter your application number and password.

Step 3: Click on the “Login” button to submit the details.
Step 4: Pay the one-time NON-REFUNDABLE Registration fee online using Online payment gateway.
Step 5: Select the preferred Course and the University.
Step 6: Lock your choices on/before the last day of choice filling. If you do not lock your choices, last saved choices will be locked automatically upon reaching the deadline for choice filling. Candidates will NOT be allowed to edit their choice list after the deadline for choice filling, i.e you cannot change the order of their choices OR add any more course in OR delete any course from the choice list after the last date for choice filling.
AIEEA UG 2020 Seat Allotment Result
Based on the candidate’s merit in AIEEA UG 2020 entrance exam, choices submitted and availability of seats, candidates are allotted a seat. ICAR releases the AIEEA UG 2020 allotment result online at its official website. To check the seat allotment result, candidates shall need login id and password. Furthermore, the candidates will also be intimated through e-mail / SMS about the university and course allotted.
What After AIEEA UG 2020 Seat Allotment Result is Declared?
After the seat allotment result is declared, the selected candidates will then have to download the provisional allotment letter in the PDF format from the portal. The allotment letter consist of the schedule for reporting to the allotted institute. If the admission is denied, then a regret letter is generated and all such letters is released in the pdf format and take its print out. Subsequent round of online counselling is then conducted immediately after the reporting is complete. The Upgradation requests shall be tried first to give the candidates their better choice.
Documents Required for AIEEA UG Counselling 2020
Candidates who are allotted a college needd to report at the allotted institute along with the necessary documents as specified below:
- All certificates and mark sheets/grade reports, in original related to Class 10 and 12.
- Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate, Character Certificate from the School last attended.
- Original Caste Certificate issued by a competent authority,
- Medical Certificate in case of Physically Challenged (PC) candidates issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital.
- Birth certificate/ Class 10 mark sheet
- e- Admit Card, hard copy of Online Application Form and letter issued by the ICAR to qualified candidates related to admission.
- Domicile Certificate
- Three recent passport size colour photographs with name and date same as the one uploaded on the online Application Form.
- Aadhaar card or 28 digits Aadhaar Enrolment ID copy. Whereas, in case of candidates from J&K, Assam & Meghalaya, a copy of passport /ration card /bank passbook or any other valid Govt. The identity card as applicable.
AIEEA UG 2020 Upgradation Process
After the round 1 allotment is over, the students may get allotted 2nd / 3rd or 4th or even higher choice. However, some seats may get vacant due to non-reporting or the reasons of in-eligibility, etc. Candidates who wish to take admission in the vacant seats need to submit a request to the officials for ‘upgradation’. However, to be eligible for upgradation, it is mandatory for the candidate to first take admission on the allotted seat. There shall be two type of scenarios for “Upgradation”.
Scenario 1 – Candidate could not request for Upgradation at the time of reporitng
If you could not request for “Upgradation” at the University at the time of reporting, and wants to do so, then you can do it, after admission, as per your convenience at home, using login credentials. You will be required to print the “Upgradation” letter, sign it, scan and upload on the counseling portal. University officials will download the same through the University Login and attach that along with the other documents submitted by the candidate earlier.
Scenario 2 – Do not want to continue with Upgradation
If you opted for “Upgradation” while reporting at the University but does not want to continue with it, then you have to login as per your convenience at home. The status of all the candidates who had opted for “Upgradation”, will be available through University Login with complete chain of developments (In/Out).
Note: The “Upgraded” candidates are exempted from reporting at the “Upgraded” University as their documents are already verified by a Competent University.
What to Do After You Are Given Upgradation?
After upgradation, you need to contact the concerned university and verify the date of registration and additional eligibility requirements/criteria, if any, for the allotted course, well in advance, before finally reporting for admission. At the time of beginning of Classes at the university, documents of all such candidates are checked and in the event of lapses being found, the university may deny admission to such candidates. In the reporting module of the University login, all such candidates will be marked as “Admitted” by default by the system. If you are “Upgraded” during the second allotment and he/she still has scope of getting a better choice, then you can again request for “Upgradation”.
What is National Talent Scholarship (NTS)?
The National Talent Scholarship (NTS) is awarded to the candidates only after the completion of AIEEA UG 2020 online counseling. It is available through the Agricultural University concerned, to all the students admitted on ICAR quota seats at any Agricultural University in a state outside his/her domicile state. The amount of NTS offered to the students as per previous year information shall be as follows –
- Rs. 2000 per month per student for Bachelor’s (Under Graduate) programme respectively.
- Rs. 3000 per month per student for Master’s (Post Graduate) programme respectively.
