AIIMS M.Sc Admissions 2021 Counselling
The duration of M.Sc Nursing / M.Sc / M.Biotech course is 2 years. The candidates are offered seats in M.Sc courses in any one of the AIIMS campuses situated at New Delhi, Rishikesh, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Bhopal, Raipur. AIIMS M.Sc 2021 Eligibility for Counselling – To be eligible for AIIMS M.Sc 2021 counselling, the candidates must have:
Qualified the entrance exam with 50th percentile
The candidates are called for the counselling rounds according to their rank. This means the candidates with higher rank are called for the first round of counselling. Then, if the seats are not filled, then the candidates are called for the subsequent rounds of counselling.
AIIMS MSC 2021 Counselling Process
The candidates whose names appear in the merit list are required to take part in the counselling process. The selected candidates need to login and do the choice filling, check the seat allotment, and pay the admission fee.
First and Second Round: In each category, the number of candidates for counselling will be 8 times the number of seats.
Final and Open Round of Counselling: The open round of counselling is done in the physical form (offline mode). The candidates with 50th percentile are eligible for the open round of counselling. For the open round as well, the candidates have to register. It is important to have the registration slip at the time of open round of counselling.
Note: The candidates are allowed to change the subjects and institutions in all the rounds. However, in the final open round, any change of institution or subject even within the institution is allowed only after depositing only the penalty amount in the form of a demand draft.
Registration and Choice Filling: The candidates whose names appear in the merit list after the declaration of AIIMS M.Sc entrance exam result are required to do the choice filling. For this, the candidates have to login by entering their credentials. There is no limit for the choices that have to be made.
Seat Allocation: According to the merit of the candidates and choices submitted by the candidates, the seats are allocated into M.Sc courses offered at AIIMS. The order of seat allocation is UR / ST / SC / OBC / EWS.
Document Verification and Payment of admission fee: After accepting the seat allotment offer, the candidates need to take part in other processes of admission. The candidates need to appear for document verification and pay the admission fee on accepting the seat.

- Admit card issued by AIIMS
- 2 colour passport size photograph
- Certificate from the Board showing date of birth
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Certificate showing registration as a nurse and midwife from Indian Nursing Council (For M.Sc Nursing candidates)
- Relevant degree of certificate by recognized university showing the fulfillment of eligibility
- Proof of passing the qualifying examination
- No Objection certificate if the candidate is already employed with the Central / State Govt / Public Undertaking
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
Spot Counselling: If the seats remain vacant after the open round of AIIMS M.Sc counselling, then those seats shall be filled via spot counselling. The details about spot counselling releases on the official website.
How to Apply for AIIMS M.Sc 2021 Counselling?
The candidates can apply for AIIMS M.Sc 2021 counselling in the following way:
- In order to appear for AIIMS M.Sc counselling, the candidates have to first login into their account by entering the required login credentials.
- After this, the candidates are required to submit the choices of seats and arrange them in the desired order.
- The choices made by the candidates are then, locked.
What After Allocation of Seats for AIIMS M.Sc 2021?
After the allocation of seats for M.Sc courses, the candidates are given 2 options:
Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and not take part in the further round of counselling.
Option 2: Accept the allotted seats and participate in 2nd round of seat allocation.
Note: The option to refuse the allocated seats is not available. Hence, it is advised to the candidates to make the choices carefully.
