AIIMS M.Sc Nursing 2021 Counselling
Counselling for AIIMS M.Sc Nursing is held via online / offline mode. No call letters for counselling are sent via post. Check the details given below for AIIMS M.Sc Nursing 2021:
First and second round: In these rounds, in each category, the number of candidates for counselling will be 8 times the number of seats. The order for the counselling is GEN / ST / SC / OBC / EWS. The counselling is done according to the rank indicated in the combined merit list.
Final Open Round of Counselling: The final open round of counselling is conducted in the offline mode. In the open round, all the candidates with 50th percentile shall be eligible.
Medical Examination: The selected candidates have to go through the medical examination by the Board appointed by the respective institute. If the candidates are found to be medically fit then, they can join the course after depositing the fees.

AIIMS M.Sc Nursing 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for M.Sc Nursing
- The candidates must have passed B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing (Post Certificate) / Post-Basic / B.Sc Nursing (4 years) course recognized from any Indian University, from an educational institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- The candidates must have passed any of the above-given degree with minimum 60% marks for GEN / EWS / OBC candidates (55% in case of SC / ST candidates).
- The candidates must be registered as Nurse, RN (Registered Nurse), RM (Registered Mid-wife) with any State Nursing Council.
M.Sc / M.Biotech
The candidates who possess any one of the following qualification with minimum 60% marks for GEN / EWS / OBC and 55% marks for SC / ST in the qualifying examination.
- MBBS / BDS (55% for GEN / EWS / OBC and 50% for SC / ST)
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (4.5 year course)
- B.Sc degree of minimum 3 year duration in any subject
It must be noted that the admission requirements for M.Sc Medical Anatomy, Medical Biochemistry, Biophysics, Medical Physiology, Medical Pharamacology and M.Biotechnology is the same as mentioned above. However, there are some courses for which require different requirements. Check it below.
For Reproductive and Clinical Embryology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Cardiovascular Imaging and Endovascular Technologies: The candidates must have completed B.Sc degree in any of the disciplines related to Biology or any allied subject.
Reproductive and Clinical Embryology: To pursue this course, the candidates must have a B.Sc degree in any of the discipline related to Biology or Allied to Biology
Nuclear Medicine Technology: For this course, the candidates must have done
- B.Sc degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from a recognized university
- B.Sc degree with Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics from a recognized university
- B.Sc in allied / related subject i.e Radio Diagnosis / Radiotherapy from a recognized university
- B.Sc in Life Science with Physics as a subject from recognized university
Cardiovascular Imaging and Endovascular Technologies: In order to pursue this course, the candidates must have a B.Sc degree in Radiography from a recognized university.
Note: For M.Sc Biotechnology – The candidates who are willing to pursue this course, must have the same eligibility requirements of M.Sc courses along with B.Tech (Biotechnology).
Also, the candidates appearing for the final examination of their qualifying examination can also apply for AIIMS M.Sc entrance exam. However, the candidates need to submit the valid proofs for this. This includes proof of passing the qualifying examination (For all M.Sc courses), required certificates as registered nurse / midwife and proof of recognition of their colleges (For M.Sc Nursing course).
M.Sc Nursing 2021 Application Form
The candidates can fill M.Sc Nursing application form online at aiimsexams.org. To submit the application form, the candidates have to complete:
- Basic Registration
- Final Registration
Basic Registration: To complete AIIMS M.Sc Nursing basic registration, the candidates have to enter, their personal, contact and address details. After entering the details, the registration id and password are generated.
Upload images: After the completion of basic generation, the candidates have to upload the images of photograph, signature andleft- thumb impression.
Final Registration: The final registration can be done only by the candidates who have completed the basic registration. In the final registration, the candidates have to enter their qualification details and pay the application fee.

AIIMS M.Sc Nursing admit card releases online at aiimsexams.org. The candidates can download it by using their RUC code, registration id and password. The candidates have to carry the printed copy of the admit card to the exam centre. No entry is allowed in the exam centre if the candidates do not have the admit card.
