All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi, has postponed the AIIMS PG entrance exam 2020 due to rising COVID-19 cases in the entire nation. The exam was earlier supposed to take place on May 02, 2020 but, now the candidates have to wait further for the notice about the new exam dates for the exam. The notice regarding the postponement of AIIMS PG 2020 entrance exam was put on the official website, aiimsexams.org in the PDF format on March 25, 2020. The notice states that:
“Considering COVID-19 outbreak, All India Institute of Medical Examination, New Delhi, has decided to postpone AIIMS PG entrance exam 2020. The notice also specifies that the new exam date will be further notified in the due course of time.”

About AIIMS PG 2020
AIIMS PG entrance exam is conducted for the students who want to pursue MD / MS / DM/ M.Ch / MDS. The exam is conducted in the online mode. The test is conducted for the duration of 3 hours. The question paper consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. The exam is conducted in one shift only.
AIIMS PG 2020 will be conducted in almost 68 cities of India. The entrance test of MD / MS tests the knowledge of the candidates studied at MBBS level whereas, the entrance test for MDS consists of the questions from BDS level. For taking admission in any of the course, the candidates need to get minimum 50 percentile.
