AIL LET 2019 Application Form

Before applying online please keep the following documents ready:

Below we mentioned the specifications for photograph and signature to upload the application form are as follows.

  • Scanned/soft copy of the passport size photograph – (size less than 80kb)
  • Signature (size less than 80kb)
  • 10thmarksheet (size less than 200kb)
  • 12thmarksheet if the result is declared already (size less than 200kb)
  • Category Certificates which are available for download (Fill in and upload, size less than 200kb).

How to fill the AIL LET 2019 Application Form

Candidates have to follow the two steps to fill the online application form for the entrance examination.

STEP I

  • First, visit the official website www.ail.ac.in.
  • Now click on the New registration Tab.
  • Now, online registration form will appear.
  • Fill the basic information of the candidate in the registration page (i.e. Name of the Candidate, Category, Date of Birth, Mobile number, Email Id etc.).
  • The application number and password will be forwarded through the registered email id and mobile number. The same is required before filling online form Step II.

STEP II

  • Log in with your registration number and password received at time of registration.
  • Click on Go to Application and fill in all the required details as per requirement.
  • Choose category and fill the details thoroughly.
  • Select Test city preference and proceed to payment through online methods
  • Candidates must pay requisite fee amount. Your application form will not be considered complete till you see the payment successful status in your application preview page.

Application Fee

The application fee for Army and All India Civil Categories is Rs. 3000/- and Late Fees is Rs.1000/ – (Rs 3000/- plus Rs.1000/- late fee).

AIL LET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check eligibility criteria before appearing for the exam. AIL LET 2019 eligibility criteria is defined by the institute and is applicable on all aspirants. Check complete details here.

For BA LLB

  • Candidates should have passed class 12.
  • They must secure at least 45% marks.
  • Students who have completed class 12 from open university systems directly, without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible for law admission.
  • Those who are appearing for class 12 exam in March / April 2019 are also eligible.
  • Candidates passing compartment exam subsequently are not eligible even if the seat is available.
  • Such candidates who passed a qualifying examination from board or university whose degree is not equivalent to Punjabi University, Patiala, will have to show eligibility certificate from Punjabi University, Patiala at time of interview.
  • If candidates belong to such boards where results are delayed then they should apply well in time to concerned board to request them to send a confidential result directly to Principal, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Punjab.

For LLM

  • Candidates should have BA LLB or LLB.
  • They must have at least 55% marks in BA LLB or LLB

AIL LET 2019 Admit Card

Candidates who apply for AIL LET 2019 will then be able to download admit card. they can download it from official website www.ail.ac.in in time as per schedule. In order to download it, candidates have to login with their registration number and password. Upon logging in, they can download and print admit card. Thereafter one must check that all details in admit card are correct. There are many important details in it such as roll number, exam centre. If there is any issue then candidate should contact authorities. On exam day, it is compulsory to take officially issued AIL LET 2019 Admit Card to exam centre.

AIL LET 2019 Result

Tie breaking: In the event that 2 or more students get equal marks in entrance exam, then candidate with higher marks in qualifying exam gets a better rank. If tie persists then older candidate gets higher rank. [For BA LLB]

Admission through AIL LET 2019: Will be for 60 seats for wards of army personnel, and 04 seats in All India Category. Those who appear for Army Institute of Law Law Entrance Test will appear for counselling on the basis of merit in the entrance exam. they will get a seat only if they are found eligible for admission. Candidates must be present for counselling. [For BA LLB]

Admission Through 10+2 Merit: There are 16 seats in Punjab Category. Admission to these will be on basis of 10+2 merit. [For BA LLB]

Candidates must submit requisite documents at time of admission.

For BA LLB

  • Class 10 with date of birth.
  • Class 12 pass certificate with detailed marks.

  • An affidavit by father/mother/guardian stating whether or not their ward has studied punjabi at the matriculation level. (in case the wards is above eighteen years of age the affidavit shall be signed by him/her).
  • It is mandatory for students who have cleared their 10+2 examination from education boards other than punjab, haryana, himachal & cbse/icse to produce an eligibility certificate from punjabi university, patiala at the time of admission.
  • Passport size photographs (12) including the photos pasted on the admission-cum-application form.
  • One photograph of parents, family members & local guardians.
  • Affidavit/certificate for punjab resident civil category

For LLM

  • Class 10 with date of birth.
  • Class 12 pass certificate with detailed marks.
  • Character certificate.

Army Institute of Law (AIL) is located in Mohali, Punjab, India. It was established in the year 1999 by Indian Army under AWES (Army Welfare Education Society).
