AILET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.): The eligibility criteria for this course are:
- You should have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate.
- Those who are pursuing class 12th can also apply.
Eligibility for LL.M: You can check the eligibility from below:
- The candidates must have done LLB or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks (50% for the SC/ST candidates of PWD Category).
- The candidates can also apply who are appearing in final year LL.B. Examination in April/May 2018 session.

The candidates who wish to apply for AILET 2018 must know all the factors related to AILET Application Form 2018. You can check the application fee, mode of payment, and the process to apply from the points given below:
Application Fee: The candidates will have to pay the application fee according to their category. You can check it as:

Note: The Below Poverty Line (BPL)candidates of SC/ST Category are exempted from any kind of Application Fee.
Mode of Payment: The candidates can pay the application fee by either of the two modes as given below:
- By depositing Cash at Post Office
- By Online Payment Gateway such as Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
How To Apply For AILET 2018?
Here we have explained the complete process for applying for AILET 2018.
- First, access the official website of NLU, which is nludelhi.ac.in.
- Then register yourself by entering the details such as Email Address, Password, Name, Date of Birth, Country, State etc.
- After that, log in with the link “Application Locker”.
- Then choose your application form and then fill the necessary details such as Personal Information, Contact Details, Family Details, Academic Qualification, and then save it.
- Upload your photograph also in the specified format.
- Now it is the time to pay the application fee. As we have discussed above, pay the fee accordingly.
- Then you will get the confirmation page after the application process.
- Take the printout of that page for the future reference.
AILET 2018 Exam Centres

AILET 2018 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of AILET 2018 varies for each course. The pattern for the different courses is available below:
For B.A.LL.B. (Hons.): There will be total 5 subjects in the exam of this course. The duration of the exam is 01 hour and 30 minutes. For more details, check the table below:

- There will be Objective Type questions which will be done on OMR sheet.

- You will be given a separate sheet for the Essay Writing for 50 marks.
For Ph.D.: For this course, the exam pattern is:
- It will be done on OMR sheets.
- There will be 100 questions of Objective Types.
- For each correct answer, you will get +1 mark.
AILET 2018 Syllabus
AILET 2018 has five subjects such as English, General Knowledge (Current Affairs, General Science, History, Geography, Economics, Civics), Legal Aptitude, Reasoning, and Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability). So it is obvious that the questions will be related to the topics which used to come under these subjects. You can check the syllabus as:
For English: The topics that can be asked in the exams are Vocabulary, Grammer, Reading Comprehension, Synonyms, Antonyms, Word Usage, Foreign Words/Phrase, Para Jumble Sentences etc.
For General Knowledge: The questions can come from Sports, Current affairs, International events, UN bodies, Eminent personalities, Awards and honors etc.
For Legal Aptitude: The syllabus for this subject can be seen as Legal Awareness covering Constitutional Law and Polity, Vicarious Liability, Strict Liability, Law of Crimes, International Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Contracts and Constitutional Law etc.
For Reasoning: The questions will come from Analogy, Blood Relations, Directions, Critical Reasoning, Syllogism, Series etc.
For Elementary Mathematics: The syllabus for this subject is Number Series, Profit & Loss, Averages & Mixtures, Percentages, Cubes, and Dices etc.
Previous Year Exam Analysis
It has been observed that since the last 03 years, the difficulty level of the exam has been relatively moderate to difficult. However, students who appeared for AILET 2017, said that the paper was tough in comparison to previous years. Since there is a steady increase in the number of test takers in the last three years for NLU-Delhi which clearly indicates a growing preference for the University. So, it can be expected that the difficulty level for AILET 2018 shall be high as it was last year.
AILET 2018 Admit Card
After filing the application form, the eligible candidates will get the AILET 2018 Admit Card. They will have to visit the official website nludelhi.ac.in to download it. There will be a separate link available for the candidates of Admit Card. It will be available on April 14, 2018. You will have to enter the email id, username, and password to download it. Check all the details of the admit card after the downloading. If all the details are correct then take the printout. Otherwise, contact the authority or send the email to NLU regarding the discrepancy.
AILET 2018 Result
National Law University (NLU) has released the result for AILET 2018 and Supplementary First Merit List of Selected Candidates. It has been declared online on the official website itself or on the link provided above. NLU have announced AILET 2018 Result in the pdf format which contains the Roll Number, Name, Score, Result Status of the candidate. You can check your status by searching your roll number in the result.
AILET 2018 Merit List
After the declaration of the result, the conducting body i.e. NLU has released AILET 2018 Merit List. It is in the pdf format according to the category of the students. There are candidates who contain the highest marks. You can check the merit list on the official website nludelhi.ac.in. The candidates who obtained the equal marks has been ranked according to the Tie-Breaker.
AILET 2018 Counselling
When the candidates will be able to check the merit list then they will be called for the counselling process. For the clarity of the candidates, it is important to know that the counselling process will be done in the offline mode. The shortlisted candidates will not get the opportunity of the online mode counselling. For this process, they will have to be physically appeared at NLU Delhi as per the scheduled time and date mentioned in their AILET 2018 Admission Letter. After the first round of the first counselling, if there will be seats remained then the second round will be conducted for the candidates.
