Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. MAT Dec 2018 is being conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). Candidates can apply for both Paper Based Test as well as Computer Based Test. Aspirants candidates will be able to register for AIMA MAT Dec 2018. Admit Card will be released only for those candidates who will successfully register for the exam. Through MAT score, the candidate can apply for admission to over 600 B-Schools across India. If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test in any city is limited, these candidates will be permitted to appear for the Paper-Based Test.

AIMA MAT Dec 2018 Online Registration

Online Application is to be filled for AIMA MAT Dec 2018 from the official website i.e. Candidates can pay for PBT or CBT: Rs 1550/- and for both PBT and CBT: Rs 2650/-. Candidates opting for both PBT and CBT will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutions for sending their scores in addition to the existing option of selecting 5 Management Institution’s i.e they can select 7 Management Institutions in total.

Application Fee: Rs. 1550/- and for both  Rs 2650/-

AIMA MAT Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have graduated in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply. There is no age limit.

AIMA MAT Admit Card

All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website link Specific Admit Card is generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. Admit Card contains Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. The candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the case of Computer Based Test.

The Paper-Based Test will take place only on one day at one-time slot i.e., 10.00am -12.30pm, whereas the Computer Based Test will take place on more than one day in different time slots.

AIMA MAT Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Test: Paper-based test and computer-based test.
  • Duration of Test: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Total Question: 200
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

All the questions and instructions of the test will be in English only. All questions are compulsory. Each question has four options marked (1), (2), (3) and (4). All questions carry equal marks. There will be Negative Marking for wrong answers.

Candidates can check AIMA MAT Result 2018 from the official website The result can also be checked through SMS. After checking result, candidates will be able to download scorecard at which is required for admission process.

Four Digit codes for Management Institutes/University Departments accepting the MAT Score are given in the List of Participating Institutes/Universities as MI Code. There are five blocks consisting of four boxes each given in the Form. Fill the codes of those five institutes only where you have applied or are applying for admission. No additional fee is to be paid for filling these 5 choices.
