AIMA MAT 2019 Score Card

Importance of MAT Score
The primary benefit of MAT Score is that it provides a common measure, administrated under standard conditions and it is easy for the candidates to rely on it. MAT Score has two important characteristics, the first one is that it is a reliable measure of certain developed skills that is is very important in the study of Management at graduate level, and the second one is that unlike graduation level marks which vary in their meaning depending upon the marking standards of each College and Universities, but MAT score is based on the same standards for all the candidates.
Limitations of MAT Score
There are certain limitations of MAT Score which the candidates can check in the list given below.
- It can not and does not measure all the important qualities of postgraduate studies in Management.
- As it is a type of test which measures the skill abilities of the candidates which have been developed just over a while these are not a psychometric test and hence, it can not be used for psychometric purposes. However, Score differences of a certain magnitude are the reliable indicators of the real differences in the performance.
How to calculate the AIMA MAT 2019 Section Wise Score Range?
Candidates can check the process for the AIMA MAT 2019 Section Wise Score Range below.
- Language, Comprehension, Mathematical Skills Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Intelligence and Critical Reasoning are calculated on the scales ranging from 0 to 100 and scores below 20 or above 80 are very rare.
- The composite score is calculated on a scale ranging from 199 to 801, but an extreme score below 200 and above 800 is very uncommon.
- Indian and Global Environment score is a separate score and it is reported on a scale of 0 to 100. Score below 20 or above 80 are rare.
About AIMA MAT 2020
All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) every year to take admission in MBA courses (general and specialized both) and other allied programs as a matter of concern. The examination is always been conducted in two formats, either in CBT type or PBT type. It depends on the choice of the candidate whether he/she wants to go for writing or choice filling or both the types.
The vision of the All India Management Association (AIMA) is a leader in Management Development Movement. It is the national body of the management profession in India. It was started with the active support of the Government of India and Industry in the year 1957. AIMA has 68 Local Management Associations including two cooperating LMAs abroad, with a membership of over 37000 members and close to 6000 corporate /institutional members.
1. How to get the MAT Score Card?
Candidates will be able to get the MAT Score Card from the AIMA official website link. The result will be updated during the last week of the month of the test.
2. What is the validity of the MAT score?
The validity of the MAT score is for that particular session for most MI’s is one year.
3. Is MAT held all over the country what about a person living abroad? Can he/she apply for it?
MAT is conducted in all major cities in the country only.
4. When & how many times MAT is conducted in a year? Qualification & percentage needed for it.
MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September, and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally. Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation, which is different for different MIs/University. For this refer to the prospectus of the particular MIs/University.
