AIPVT 2017 will not be conducted this year. VCI is contemplating to use merit list of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG)-2017 (NEET (UG)-2017) for allocation of seats to the recognized Veterinary Colleges (except Jammu and Kashmir) for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. course under 15% All India quota.

Admission will be based on NEET (UG) 2017

Veterinary Council of India is unable to conduct All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) 2017 this year. All those students who desired to take admission into B.V.Sc & A.H course under 15% seats on All India basis are hereby advised to appear in NEET (UG) 2017 to be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 07 May 2017.

Candidates please note that AIPVT 2017 will not be held this year. As per the notice, B.V.Sc & A.H courses admission will be based on NEET 2017. Other details updated on this page as per the last year.

How to check AIPVT Result?

  1. Visit the official website of Veterinary Council of India.
  2. Click on the ‘Result’ link on the home page OR use the direct link will be provided above.
  3. Enter the Registration No., Roll no. and security pin.
  4. Press Submit and the Result shall be displayed on the screen.
  5. Save and Print the Result for the further admission process.

About AIPVT Result 2017

VCI compiles marks and merit of candidates. Consequently it publishes AIPVT Result comprising of the successful candidates listed in the Merit and Waiting List only. Immediately they host the same on Council’s. Students can see that there is no separate merit list for SC / ST / OBC / PH candidates.

Ranking Methodology

In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the entrance examination, the inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows:‑

  1. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test.
  2. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the Test.
  3. Candidates with less number of wrong answers in all the subjects in the Test.
  4. Candidates older in age to be preferred.

All Candidates appearing in AIPVT 2017 Examination must remain in touch with the Council’s website. The Council shall not be responsible for non-receipt of latest information/ communication due to wrong E-mail address and Mobile No. provided in the Online Application Form by the candidate.

Merit List

Merit List for Participating States for seats other than 15% All India Quota

Based on State Code of Eligibility and Domicile State filled in by the candidates in the Online Application Form and the score obtained in the AIPVT-2017, the Council will prepare State wise merit list of candidates for each participating State. The State wise merit list of candidates shall be forwarded to the State concerned for the purpose of allotment of seats through counseling by following the rules and reservation policies applicable to the State concerned.

All participating States shall prepare their own ranking based on the All India/ State wise merit list of candidates of AIPVT-2017 and other critera as decided by them.
