Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University , Kakinada, has postponed AP EAMCET 2020. Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2020 was due to be held on April 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 2020, but has been postponed due to outbreak of COVID-19. The new exam dates for AP EAMCET 2020 has been announced i.e. July 27 – 31, 2020.
With this, the last date to apply for AP EAMCET 2020 has also been extended. The candidates can now submit AP EAMCET 2020 application form without the late fee till May 20, 2020. The application forms for AP EAMCET 2020 are available at sche.ap.gov.in/EAMCET. The short notice for the extension of last date to apply was put up on the official website.

All those candidates who have passed 10+2 can fill AP EAMCET 2020 application form. Eligible candidates can fill the application form at sche.ap.gov.in/EAMCET. For submitting AP EAMCET 2020 application form, the candidates need to first pay the application fee. Next, candidates are required to enter personal details, education details, communication details. Then, documents like photograph and signature have to be uploaded. Lastly, take a printout of the confirmation page.
When will AP EAMCET 2020 Admit Card Release?
On the official website, only the last date to submit AP EAMCET 2020 application form without the last fee is mentioned. The last dates to submit the application form with the late fee have not been specified yet. The official exam conducting body has also not notified the date for the release of AP EAMCET 2020 admit card. Earlier, the admit card was supposed to be out on April 17, 2020. But as observed, the last date to apply has been extended till this date, naturally, admit card cannot be out on the same date.
Apart from providing important details like exam name, exam date, name and address of the test centre, the admit card also acts as an entry ticket at the time of examination. It is mandatory to take the admit card to the centre as without having it, the candidates cannot give the exam.
Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test is conducted by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. It is a computer-based test conducted to offer admission in courses like B.Tech, B.Sc., B.Pharm and Pharm D. The test is conducted for a duration of 3 hours. There are 160 multiple-choice questions from the subject Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology. There is no negative marking in the test.
Now, the candidates have ample of time for the preparation of the exam because of the lockdown due to COVID-19. Here’s how you can utilize the time period:
- First of all, be disciplined even in these extended holidays. Maintain the same routine as you were doing before
- Wash your hands and practice proper hygiene
- Try to take proper breaks between the studies to feel less anxious
- Use this time as an opportunity and solve previous question papers
- Eat well, exercise and stay indoors
