AP PGLCET is an Entrance Exam conducted by any State University on behalf of APSCHE. This time the conducting body of AP PGLCET 2018 is Shri Kishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu. By this exam, you will be able to get admission in the Postgraduate Law courses LL.M. It offers the admission at the University of Andhra Pradesh and its affiliated Colleges. The exam of AP PGLCET 2018 was held on April 19, 2018. It is an Objective Type exam which includes the Multiple Choice Answers. AP PGLCET 2018 Application Form

Application Fee: The Registration fee of AP PGLCET 2018 is Rs.850/-.

Mode of Payment: You can pay the registration fee by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or by depositing the Cash through APOnline Centre.

How to Apply: Those who want to apply for AP PGLCET 2018 should know the process to apply. They can check the steps from below:

  • Then pay the application fee as specified above.
  • To fill the form, you must know the Payment Reference ID, Qualifying Exam, Hall Ticket Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.

AP PGLCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who want to give the exam of AP PGLCET 2018 must know the eligibility criteria. They can check it from below:

Educational Qualification: You can check the academic records criteria such as:

  • Candidates must possess LL.B./B.L. degree.
  • Those candidates are also eligible who are pursuing the LL.B./B.L. Final year examination. They can take the exam in anticipation of results.
  • Candidates belonging to OC/ OBC category must have at least 50% marks in the qualified/ qualifying degree.
  • SC/ ST Candidates must have the aggregate of minimum 45% marks.

Nationality: The candidates must be Indian and they should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirement.


AP PGLCET 2018 Admit Card

The authority has released AP PGLCET 2018 Admit Card on April 12, 2018. The candidates can download the admit card online from the admit card page. To download the admit card they will have to enter the Payment Reference ID, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and registration number. It is available in the pdf format. First, check that all the details of admit card are correct are not. If they are all correct then take the printout of it for the future reference. The candidates must carry the admit card at the time of appearing for the exam.

AP PGLCET 2018 Exam Pattern

There will be a single paper for all the courses of LL.M. AP PGLCET 2018 is an objective type exam. It will contain the multiple choice questions. AP PGLCET 2018 Syllabus

There will be total 7 subjects in the exam of AP PGLCET 2018. You can check the syllabus from below:

For Jurisprudence: The questions will come from Schools of Jurisprudence – Sources of Law, Custom Precedent and Legislation, Rights and duties – Ownership and Possession, Persons, Obligation, Property, Liability, Legal Sanctions.

For Constitutional Law: It will contain the questions of Nature of the Constitution: Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles of State Policy, Executive, Judiciary and Legislature, Center-State Relations, Emergency provisions, Amendments to the constitution.

For Public International Law: There will be the questions of International Law and Municipal Law, Subjects, State Territory, Air, Sea and outer space, Nationality and Statelessness, Extradition, Asylum, State Jurisdiction, United Nations.

For Mercantile Law: THis section will have the questions fromGeneral Principles of Contract (Sections. 1-75, Indian Contract Act-1872).

For Labour Law: It will contain the topics from Trade Union Act 1926. Industrial Disputes Act 1947.

For Crimes and Torts: There will be the questions of Indian Penal Code -General Principles & General Exceptions. TORTS – General Principle of Torts,  Defences, Joint liability, State liability for torts; Consumer Protection Act,1986

For IPR & Other Laws: This section will contain the questions from Copyright Act, 1957; Patents Act, 2005; Environmental Protection Act, 1986 Human Rights, The Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993, Salient features of Information Technology Act, 2000 and Right to Information Act 2005.

AP PGLCET 2018 Answer Key

The authority will release AP PGLCET 2018 Answer Key online on the official website sche.ap.gov.in. It will be released on April 22, 2018. You will get the answer key in the pdf format. There will be the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. The students will be able to cross-check all the answers with the help of the answer key. You will also get the chance to file the complaint about the answer key if there will be any wrong answer in the answer key. The last date to file the complaint is Apri 23, 2018. After the correction, the correct answer key will be released.


AP PGLCET 2018 Qualifying Marks

The candidates will have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks to get selected for the admission. To earn the qualifying marks, they will have to gain at least 25% of the total marks. So it can be said that the students will have to earn minimum 30 marks out of 120 marks. Thus the candidates will be shortlisted for the admission.

AP PGLCET 2018 Result

The result of AP PGLCET 2018 will be released online on the official website sche.ap.gov.in. The authority has assured that they will pay the extra care to avoid errors in the evaluation, checking, scrutiny, tabulation, and ranking. So if the candidates will send any complaint or request regarding the rechecking then it will not be entertained.

The candidates will get the place in the rank card on the basis of the marks obtained in AP PGLCET 2018. The ranking of the candidates will totally depend on their marks in the exam. If the candidates will get the equal marks in the exam then there will also be the tiebreaker. In this case, the authority will consider the marks obtained in Part-A of Entrance Test. Even if the tie will persist then they will be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking in the rank card. After that, if the tie will be there then at the time of admission, the seniority in age may be considered.


AP PGLCET 2018 Counselling

After the declaration of the result, the candidates will be called for the counselling process. They will be given the college for the admission on the basis of their ranks. The candidates will have to choose one of the listed colleges to get admission in. The candidates will be called with the specified document for the counselling.
