Assam CEE 2020 Counselling
After the counselling process, candidates will be issued by the confirmed allotment letter, which will be used for the final admissions into the allotted college. Candidates can check the counselling process schedule from the table below:

Assam CEE 2020 Counselling
After the declaration of Assam CEE 2020 result, Directorate of Technical Education,Assam will released the notification the for the counselling process on the official website. Qualified candidates have to appear for the choice of college, branch and document verification process at the given date and time. Candidates appearing for the counselling process, have to pay the counselling fee in cash only. Fee as per last year is:
After the counselling candidates will have to report the allotted college at the given date and time. Candidates must carry the allotment letter issued at the time of counselling, original documents and admission fee as per the college.
Spot Round of Assam CEE 2020 Counselling
DTE will conducts spot round of counselling to fill the vacant seats after the 3rd counselling process. Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of ranks and first-come first-serve basis.However, spot round of counselling shall not guarantee a seat at the State Engineering College of Assam.
Candidates appearing for the spot round , have to pay the fee as given below-
- Counselling fee – Rs.700/- (as per last year)
- Admission Fee – Rs,1850/- (as per last year)
Candidates appearing for the counselling have to carry the documents(original & photocopy) for the verification. They have to carry the duly-filled counselling application Form, institution choice filling Form and admission record sheet at the time counselling. Candidates must ensure that all the photocopies bear the signature of the candidate.
Documents carry at the time of Counselling
Check all the necessary documents to be carried out at the time of counselling :
- Part – A of the information brochure duly and properly filled.
- Admit Card and Passed Certificate of 10th standard.
- Mark sheet and Passed Certificate of 12th standard.
- Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) of Assam for all category except CGE category.
- Original Caste Certificate.
- Original CEE- 2019 Admit Card and Rank Card.
- All the relevant Certificate relating to Caste/Category.
- One copy of recent passport size photograph.
- Original Non-creamy layer OBC/MOBC certificate from the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district for OBC/MOBC, TGLC/Ex-TGLC Moran, Matak Community.
- Character Certificate issued from the Head of the Institution last attended.
Assam CEE 2020
The Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) conducts Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission into B.Tech programmes in the 5 premier government engineering colleges in Assam.It is a State Level Entrance Examination conducted every year in pen paper mode. Around 25,000 students, every year registered for the examination. Candidates who possess a domicile of Assam state and have completed the 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks (general), 45% (SC) & 40% (ST)
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam was established in 1960. Today there are around 5 Govt. Engineering Colleges and 21 Polytechnic Institutions are working under this Directorate. It maintain and enhance the quality of technical education in Assam by defining policies, developing government institutions.
