Assam GNM TTWD 2020 Admission Process
The admission of the students belonging to Tea Tribes Community of Assam is done based on candidates merit in the qualifying examination (10+2). Eligibile candidates are then shortlisted to appear for verification process and oral interview which is conducted by a Selection Committee. The process of document verification and interview is done in Guwahati for final selection. Candidates who are finally shortlisted for admission are provided training free of cost and financial assistance will be provided as per norms of the TTWD.
Assam GNM TTWD 2020 Document Verification
After the release of the merit list, the candidates are shortlisted to appear for document verification process. Candidates shall have to report physically at the verification venue as per the schedule along with the necessary documents in proof of age, acadmeic qualification, etc.
Documents carry for verification process – Candidates shall have to bring alongthe following documents for verification:
- Caste certificate.
- Birth certificate / class 10th certificate.
- Copy of Class 10th mark sheet.
- Copy of Class 12th mark sheet.
- Copy of Caste and sub-caste certificate.
- Copy of account information.

About Assam GNM TTWD 2020
The Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare, Assam, Rupnagar, Guwahati, has started a special drive for admission in 3-years GNM courses under GNM Institutes of Govt. of Assam. This is scheme is for only un-married candidates belonging to Tea Tribes Community of Assam. Various steps are being taken by the Government for improving the level of literacy and education besides other economic support for generating their family income under State plan.

The Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare, Assam, (TTWD Assam) was established in the year 1983 to develop appropriate network between government departments and other various organizations with a view to enabling the speedy disposal of matters relating to Tea Garden Tribes. It also provides coaching to the tea tribe community students to hlp them to appear for HSLC or HSSLC exam or any other admission / /competitive entrance exam.
