AUCET 2020– Andhra University conducts Common Entrance Test (AUCET) for the students who want to take admission in the PG courses of the streams Arts, Humanities, Law and Engineering. It is conducted at the state level. AUCET is conducted in the offline mode. Andhra University Common Entrance Test is scheduled to take place in May 2020. AUCET 2020 Preparation Tips
Knowing the exam pattern does not help the candidates in scoring well or qualifying the exam. FOr cracking the exam, the candidates need some preparation tips that can be followed at before the exam. So, check the tips mentioned below.
- Analyze the syllabus carefully: Make sure the syllabus has been carefully checked and its important topics and chapters are carefully seen.
- Understand the concepts: Make sure the concepts of any topic is clear. Before solving any problem or studying any topic, just keep a note that its concepts are clear.
- Time Mangement: Before starting with the preparation, manage the time well and see write down the time in which a particular topic or section can be covered.
- Watch Youtube Tutorials: If any concepts is not clear, search the social media and see if the video is avaiable for that topic or not. If its available then, watch it to clear the concepts.
- Revise: Before starting with any topic, make sure all of the earlier studied concepts are revised well. Do not rush and try to revise each and every topic on a daily basis till the end of exam.
AUCET 2020 Exam Pattern
It is beneficial to know the exam pattern before the exam as that would help the candidates to make a preparation strategy for scoring well in the exam. AUCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for AUCET 2020, the candidates are required to follow certain terms and conditions as specified by the university. Without matching the eligibility criteria, the candidates cannot appear for the exam. So, check the eligibility criteria for different courses.
M.Sc. Biochemistry – For applying to this course, the candidates should have studied either:B.Sc./B.Sc. (Vocational) Chemistry/ Biochemistry B.Sc. (Vocational) with Food Science & Quality Control.
M.Sc. Biotechnology – Should have studied either:B.Sc./B.Sc. (Vocational) with any two of the following subjects: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, Human Genetics, Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Mathematics B.Sc. M.Sc. Applied Chemistry – offered in Department of Engineering Chemistry – AUCE(A) – All the applicants must have passed B.Sc. /B.Sc. Vocational Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry as one of the subjects.
M.Sc. Geology – For applying to this course, the candidates must have B.Sc. with Geology with any other two subjects.
M.Sc. Tech. Applied Geology (3 years duration) – B.Sc. Geology with any two of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mineral beatification, and Materials Handling.
M.Sc. Statistics M.Sc. Statistics with Computer Science offered in the Department of Statistics – B.Sc./B.A with both Statistics and Mathematics.

AUCET 2020 Application Form
The eligible candidates can fill the application form at andhrauniversity.edu.in or auvspdoa.in. AUCET 2020 Application Form can be filled in the online mode. Candidates are required to do the registration first and then fill the application form. Before proceeding for the payment of application fee, the candidates need to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature. The candidates need to provide the following given details.
- Hall ticket number of qualifying exam
- Marks and ranks of qualifying exam
- Date of birth
- Caste (if applicable)
- Income of the parents
Application Fee: The candidates have to pay Rs 600 (Rs 500 in case of SC / ST / PH). The fee can be paid via debit card / credit card / net banking / Andhra Bank.
AUCET 2020 Exam Centres
The candidates are required to select the exam centres for AUCET at the time of filling the application form. The university reserves the right to remove / add test centres. However, if the number of registered candidates are only 200 then, the test centre would be Visakhapatnam only.
AUCET 2020 Admit Card
The hall ticket for Andhra University Common Entrance Test is issued to all the registered candidates. AUCET 2020 Admit Card is made available at andhrauniversity.edu.in or auvspdoa.in. The admit card can be downloaded by entering the login credentials which are application number and date of birth.
The candidates must preserve the hall ticket till the end of admission. The hall ticket comprises of the information like name and address of the candidates, exam date, exam timing, address of the exam centre etc.
AUCET 2020 Result
The result for AUCET is announced at the official website of Andhra University. AUCET 2020 Result can be checked at andhrauniversity.edu.in or auvspdoa.in. The results is declared in the form of a rank card. So, in the results the individual ranks of the candidates are also indicated. AUCET result is declared in the form of PDF file format.
The candidates must note there will be no re-evaluation of the OMR answer sheets. Later on, all the qualified candidates are required to appear for the counselling.
