Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has postponed B.Ed Entrance Test 2020 due to spreading of COVID-19. The exam was earlier supposed to take place on April 12, 2020. However, looking at the novel corona virus crisis and lockdown, the Board has decided to postpone the exam.
As of now, the revised exam dates have not been notified on the official website. However, it is expected that JKBOPEE will announced it after evaluation the situation, post lockdown. The new exam dates for JK B.Ed Entrance Test 2020 will be released after the statement of Health Advisory regarding the situation of the disease.
To notify candidates about the postponement of the examination, the board released an official notice, at jkbopee.gov.in. It stated that “Due to the lockdown because of COVID-19, the Board has to postpone the entrance test if B.Ed (Kashmir) / B.Ed in Special Education (CRC). The exam was scheduled to be held on April 12, 2020 for admission in Govt. College of Education and Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Srinagar“.

When will Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed Entrance Test 2020 Admit Card Release?
Considering that the exam has been postponed, the admit card for Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed entrance test 2020 will also be delayed.The release date of admit card has not been notified on the official website. Candidates can download J&K B.Ed Entrance Test 2020 admit card by entering the application number and date of birth. Without it candidates are not allowed to give the exam. It consists of details like exam date, exam time, course name, address of the exam centre, general instructions etc.
Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed entrance test is conducted for a duration of 3 hours. As the name suggests, the exam is conducted for the students who want to pursue Bachelor’s of Education. The test consists of 180 multiple-choice questions. The questions are framed from the subjects, General English, General Awareness, Reasoning and Aptitude for Teaching Profession. Each question carries 01 marks and there is a negative marking of -0.25 marks in case of wrong answers.
