BVP BUMAT 2018 for BBA / BCA: Bharati Vidyapeeth University which is a deemed university conducts the entrance examination for admission to BBA/ BCA courses. Each year, BVP announces the schedule of the entrance examination for these programmes which run under the title B-UMAT. For 2018, the entrance exam was held on June 03, 2018.

Application Form

A candidate looking forward to apply for their desired course is now able to apply by visiting the official website at or To apply for B-UMAT 2018, the candidates can visit the mentioned web portals and complete the process as guided. First step would be to get registered. Here you will create your login id. This id can be used to login at any time for filling the form. Now, before you proceed to apply, keep scanned images of your photograph and signature to be uploaded. Then complete the rest of the form. After the completion, you will need to submit the form. Take a print of the payment receipt for future guidance. Also the university may ask you to submit the form in offline mode as well.

Application Fees

The candidates may have to pay around Rs. 1200/- as part of application form completion. The amount was remitted using any of the options from Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate applying for the BBA/BCA Programme should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from any statutory board situated in India. The candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete their examination including practical Examinations, viva / assignments on or before the day of admission to the institute of their choice. Such candidates will have to produce marks statement at the time of admission.

The admission of student, will remain provisional until the other necessary certificates in original, are submitted to the institute. The last date to submit all the certificates (except statement of marks) in original is given above, if certificates are not submitted by the said date or the eligibility is not granted, the admission would automatically stand cancelled. Under no circumstances will an extension of the deadline be made. The candidate should be an Indian national.

Admit Card

Admit card will be available online to candidates after successfully filling up the online application form and payment of the entrance test fee. Candidates are required to download and print a copy of the admit card. Candidates MUST bring the following documents to the test centre:

  • Printed copy of Admit Card
  • Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired): Aadhaar Card /PAN card/Driving license/Voter ID/Passport. The name on the photo identification must match with the name as show on the Admit card.

Candidate reporting to test center without the above said requisite documents shall not be allowed to appear for the entrance test.

Test Centres: The entrance test can be held in the following cities:- Pune, New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Kolhapur, Karad, Snagli. Lucknow, Solapur, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Indore, and Bhopal. The test centre gates will open 20 minutes before the exam commencement. Therefore try to reach at least 30 minutes before. You will be expected to grab your seats at least 10 minutes before the test.

Exam Pattern

The BBA/BCA aspirant must be present at the entrance examination called B-UMAT 2018. The test will be conducted in offline mode. You can expect to get around 200 marks questions in MCQ format. There will be total 200 questions of 1 mark each. You will see 4 possible answers and only one will be correct. There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Admission Process

  • A candidate desirous of seeking admission to BBA/BCA programme should fulfil the minimum eligibility condition.
  • He / she must have appeared for the B-UMAT Test.
  • The candidates shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the Combined BBA / BCA merit list and availability of the seats for the programme at a particular institute of the candidates’ choice. The candidate has to mention the choice of the institute in the application form.
    • In the case of candidates securing equal number of marks in the Entrance Test, candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks scored at SSC or its equivalent examination.
    • When the marks scored in the entrance test, percentage of marks at SSC are the same, candidate will be ranked on basis of computerised random numbering.


The combined merit list of BU-MAT 2018 based on 200 marks, i.e., written test will be declared on scheduled date. The combined merit list for all the institutes together will be declared. Separate merit list will be prepared for Regular category and Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI/ Institutional Quota Merit Category. The merit list of BU-MAT-2018 entrance test will be declared and displayed at all the Institutes of Management of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), and will also be displayed on its website. It is not possible to send individual invitation for counselling to the candidates. It shall be the responsibility of the individual candidate to see his own merit number and appear for the counselling at the centre of his/her choice as per schedule

Documents required at the time of Counselling:

  • Statement of marks
  • Passing Certificates of last qualifying examination
  • Migration Certificate
  • 5 Passport size recent photographs.
