Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune conduct the common entrance test (CET) 2018 to B.Sc Biotech courses for the academic year 2018-19. Eligible candidates may apply for admission in B.Sc on or before the last date. BVP CET BBT 2018
Students will be admitted to B.Sc Biotech courses in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of IT & Biotech Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University on the basis of the merit obtained by them in the All India Common Entrance Test (CET BBT 2018) for which they have to fill the application form as per schedule date. After completion of application process candidates will immediately issue the admit card for the BVP CET BBT 2018 entrance exam which is expected to be held in the month of June 2018. The counselling session for B.Sc. Biotech will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of IT & Biotechnology, Pune 411046 as per the schedule.

BVP CET BBT Application Form 2018
A candidate desirous of appearing in the CET BBT 2018 is required to complete the prescribed application form on or before the last date of application and submit the same to the University, on or before by 1700 hrs.
The candidates should avoid overwriting, cutting, erasures on the form. Any discrepancies in the statements and/or submission of incomplete form will lead to its rejection / cancellation of admission.
Applicants should ensure that
- He/She has signed the application from at the places specified for the purpose. The application from is duly signed by his/her father/ guardian.
- The recent passport size photographs duly attested by the head of school or a gazetted officer have been pasted in the spaces earmarked for that purpose.
An incomplete application form and an application form which is not accompanied by a demand draft of the prescribed CET-BBT – 2018 fee will not be entertained and processed. This fee should not be sent by money order. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.
- Candidate who have successfully passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2course) or equivalent examination with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and /or Mathematics and passed in English, from a recognized board is eligible for admission to the First year of the B.Sc. Biotechnology course.

Note :Out of the sanctioned intake, 15% seats are reserved for Foreign / NRI / PIO / OCI / Institutional Quota Merit category students. Candidates desirous of seeking admissions through this category will have to apply to the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune. The last date for submission of the form for this category is 13 Jun 2017 before 1700 hrs. Any seats remaining vacant after allotment to Foreign / NRI / PIO / OCI Merit students, will be allotted to Indian students in Institutional Quota Merit category on the basis of marks obtained by them in CET-BBT – 2017
BVP CET BBT Admit Card 2018
Admission Cards for CET-BBT – 2018 will be dispatched by post to candidates under certificate of posting. The Admission Card will indicate the Roll Number and Examination Centre allotted to the candidate with its address.
The Candidate must not mutilate the Admission Card or change any entry made therein after it has been authenticated by the University authorities.
In case the Admission Card is not received by a candidate by (date will be announced soon) he/she should contact the concerned Designated Centres at Pune, Navi Mumbai and New Delhi (addresses given on page Cover 3). In such a situation, the candidate should bring two copies of his/her authenticated photograph along with him/her and a proof of submission/mailing of application form. In case no proof is submitted, duplicate admission card will not be issued. Mere purchase of application form will not be considered as a proof of sending the completed application form.
BVP CET BBT Exam Pattern
The CET-BBT – 2018 will consists of one question paper, set in English and will contain 100 multiple choice objective-type questions, 25 each on Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Candidate must attempt 75 questions in all, 25 each from Physics and Chemistry as compulsory questions and 25 questions from Biology. or Mathematics Each correct answer will get one mark. There is no negative marking.

BVP CET BBT Result 2018
Candidates can see the result of BVP CET BBT 2018 from the official website of Bharati Vidyapeeth or notice board as per schedule date mention above after the conductio of entrance examination which will be held in the month of June 2018.
The University will prepare Merit lists for Regular Merit category and Foreign / NRI / PIO / OCI/ Institutional Quota Merit Category candidates who have appeared for CET-BBT-2018 in accordance with the total marks obtained by them in CET-BBT-2018.
Copies of merit lists of Regular Merit and Foreign / NRI / PIO / OCI/Institutional Quota Merit Category will be displayed for information at the offices of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in Pune, Navi Mumbai, Delhi and Sangli by 17.00 hrs. on the date declared in the calendar of events. The merit list will be also available on our Websites : http//www.bharatividyapeethuniversity.net or http//www.bvuniversity.edu.in It shall be responsibility of the candidate to see the result displayed on website or notice board and appear for the interview on the date and time mentioned in the brochure No separate letter of invitation will be sent.
The counseling session for admission to B.Sc. Biotechnology is expected to be conducted in the month of June 2018 at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of IT & Biotechnology, Pune 411 046. The candidate must report at 10 a.m. on the date of counselling. Failure to report for counseling on the schedule date and time will result in instantaneous cancellation of a claim of the candidate of the seat. It shall be candidates responsibility to see the result of CET-BBT-2018. Candidate will be allotted seat as per his/her merit and choice, based on the availability of seats.
The candidate should remain present for the personal interview (counselling) and for on the spot admission, as per the schedule.
Only the candidate and one of his parents/guardian will be allowed into the hall where counselling is held. The candidates will be called in the order of their ranking in the merit list and offered the seats to the various courses available at that point of time. The candidate will be allowed to choose admission to any of the courses if a seat is available when his/her turn comes.
The candidate must note that appearance for the examination and inclusion of name in the merit list does not necessarily mean that he/she will get admission to any course or the courses of his/her choice. His admission to a particular course will depend upon the availability of seats for that particular course at the time of his counselling.
At the time of reporting for the counselling, the candidate is required to produce the documents (original and two sets of photocopies) listed below. If the candidate is admitted to any of the courses, these documents will be retained by the University till he/she completes the course. If the candidate fails to produce all or any of the documents listed, he/she will instantaneously forfeit his / her claim for a seat.
Document required at the time of Counselling
At the time of counseling, you are required to produce the following documents in original. Failure to do so will result in instantaneous cancellation of your claim for admission. You are also required to submit two self attested photocopies of each of these document.
- Your letter for counselling
- For a Proof of date of Birth : SSC Certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate or Certificate of Domicile/Nationality Certificate
- Statement of marks of X std examination.
- Statement of marks of XII std examination.
- Transfer Certificate from the Institution in which you had studied last.
- Caste Certificate (in case of candidates of SC/ST category)
- Caste validity certificate issued by appropriate authority (in case of candidates of SC/ST category)
- Migration Certificate (for students who joined a course after 12th).
- Conduct and Character Certificate from a responsible person.
- Certificate of Medical Fitness.
- Six recent passport-size photographs with your names written on backside.
- The amount of fees and Hostel fees (in case you are admitted to Hostel.)
- Authority letter-wherever applicable.
- The application should also be accompanied by a document in the form of school leaving certificate / transfer / migration / character certificate, which should include a report on behavioral pattern of applicant, so that the institution can thereafter keep intense watch upon a student who has a negative entry in this regard.
