Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University will conduct the All India Common Entrance Test (CET) Engineering 2018 for the candidates seeking admission in various Engineering Degree courses. BVP CET Engineering 2018 will be held for the candidates to get admission in College of Engineering, Pune on the basis of the merit obtained in the entrance test. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website of BVP i.e. bvuniversity.edu.in. For all the relevant information regarding the BVP CET Engineering 2018, the candidates can refer to this page (which is made as per the last year’s format) or the official website.
Candidates, who will be willing to appear for the CET Engineering 2018, need to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the University. Candidates, who want to get admission to various B.Tech courses in different fields, will have to go through the various stages of admission process such as filling of application form, downloading of admit card, exam pattern, commencement of entrance test, declaration of result and lastly, the counselling/seat allotment.
The important dates for the BVP CET Engineering 2018, will be given by the University in the following manner:

Before applying the candidates need to satisfy all the relevant eligibility requirements for the admission to the various courses. The eligibility criteria for the interested candidates will be as follows:
Qualifying Examination – Candidates must be passed in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) or the Indian School Certificate EXamination (ISCE) or equivalent examination or HSC Examination of any recognised Board/University from any school/college situated in India.
Subjects of the Qualifying EXamination – Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.
Percentage of the Qualifying Examination – Candidates should obtain 50% (45% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together.
Note – Candidates who will appear or have appeared for the qualifying examination but whose results will not be declared then that candidate will also be considered as eligible to appear for CET Engineering 2018, provided they will have the above-mentioned subjects at the said examination.
The entrance test will consist of one question paper which will be in English. The question paper will consist of total 200 multiple-choice questions with four answer options A, B, C and D out which the candidates need to choose one correct option. The exam will be conducted for 3 hours. The marking scheme of the question paper will be as follows:

Each correct answer will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking. Candidates who will appear for the entrance test must go through the exam pattern to have a better understanding regarding the entrance test.
Eligible candidates who will be willing to appear for the CET Engineering 2018, need to fill the online application form along with the submission of entrance test fee which will be Rs. 1700/- (fee will be non – refundable). The application form will be available online on the official website i.e. bvuniversity.edu.in or bharatividhyapeethuniversity.net. Candidates must read all the instructions while filling the application form. In case, any candidate will not be able to fill the application form only then he/she can fill it through post/courier/in person as it will be available at the designated centres and at the Admission office of BVP also.
After the successful application process, the candidates will get the Admit Card or Admission Card few days before the entrance test. The admit card will be sent to the candidates by post under the certificate of posting. The admit card will consist of the roll number, exam centre name and address and the exam schedule. The admit card will be an important document without which the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance test. In case, any candidate will not receive the admit card then he/she will have to contact the designated centre or to the Admission Office of BVP, one day prior to the test during the working hours for collecting the duplicate admit card.
The candidates will also be provided with the option to choose any one examination centre out of the given centres to appear for the entrance test. The entrance test will be held in the following list of examination centres:

Declaration of Result
The result of the BVP CET Engineering 2018 will be declared and made available online at the official website as well as offline at the office of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University and at designated centres at Navi Mumbai and New Delhi. The result will be prepared in the form of the lists which will be based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in Mathematics and Physics. The number of candidates who will have their name on the list will be called for the counselling and on the spot admission session.
After the declaration of the result, the counselling letters will be sent to the first 5000 candidates in the merit list of the entrance test. Candidates will get their counselling letter through the email address provided by them. Counselling will be held at the BVP, Pune. in case, any candidates will not appear at the allotted centre and schedule then his/her candidature will be cancelled by the University. Candidates will have to carry all the important documents along with the letter at the time of counselling. Admissions will be given to the eligible candidates to any branch as per the available seats in that branch at the time of counselling.
