BVP CET Engineering 2019

Candidates, who are willing to appear for the CET Engineering 2019, need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified by the University. Those who want to get admission to various B.Tech courses in different fields, have to go through the various stages of the admission process. The official dates of the relevant events regarding the BVP CET Engineering 2019 have been released by the officials on their website. Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for BVP CET Engineering 2019, the candidates need to satisfy all the relevant eligibility requirements for the admission to the various courses. The eligibility criteria for the interested candidates will be as follows:

Qualifying Examination – Candidates must be passed in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or equivalent examination or HSC Examination of any recognized Board/University from any school/college situated in India.

Subjects in the Qualifying Examination – Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.

Percentage of the Qualifying Examination – Candidates should obtain 50% (45% for SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together.

Note – Candidates who will appear or have appeared for the qualifying examination but whose results will not be declared then that candidate will also be considered as eligible to appear for CET Engineering 2019, provided they will have the above-mentioned subjects at the said examination.

Application Process

Eligible candidates who are willing to appear for the CET Engineering 2019, need to fill the online application form along with the submission of entrance test fee which is Rs. 1700/- (fee will be non – refundable). The application form is available online on the official website i.e.  Candidates must read all the instructions while filling the application form. In the BVP CET ENgineering application form, candidates have to fill the information such as personal details, contact details, academic details and appearing examination details (if any).

Admit Card

After the successful application process, the candidates will get the Admit Card or Admission Card few days before the entrance test. The admit card will be available online at University’s website. To access the allotted hall ticket, candidates have to login by providing the details such as User Id and password. No Admit Card will be sent to the candidates by post. The admit card consists of the details printed on it such as roll number, exam centre name and address and the exam schedule. The admit card is an important document without which the candidates are not allowed to appear for the entrance test. Candidates MUST bring the following documents at the test centre.

  • Printed copy of Admit Card
  • Any one of the authotized photo IDs (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter Card, Passport)

Exam Pattern

The BVP CET 2019 question paper will be in the English language. The question paper will consist of total 200 multiple-choice questions with four options A, B, C and D out which the candidates need to choose one correct option. The exam will be conducted for 3 hours.

Marking Scheme

  • +1 mark on each correct answer.
  • No negative marking on any wrong response.
  • 0 marks for unanswered question.

Exam Syllabus

The candidates are going to be provided with the option to choose any one examination centre out of the given centres to appear for the entrance test. The entrance test will be held in the following list of examination centres:

Declaration of Result

The result of the BVP CET Engineering 2019 will be declared and made available online at the official website as well as offline at the office of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University and at designated centres at Navi Mumbai and New Delhi. The result will be prepared in the form of the merit lists which will be based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in Mathematics and Physics. The number of candidates who will have their name on the list will be called for the counselling and on the spot admission session.


After the declaration of the result, the counselling letters will be sent to the first 5000 candidates in the merit list of the entrance test. Candidates will get their counselling letter through the email address provided by them. In case if any candidate does not appears at the allotted centre and schedule then his/her candidature will be cancelled by the University. Candidates will have to carry all the important documents along with the letter at the time of counselling. Admissions will be given to the eligible candidates to any branch as per the available seats in that branch at the time of counselling.
