BVP MEVST/MGI 2020 Eligibility
Eligibility requirements for Admission to First year M.Sc. Environment Science and Technology is through (MEVST-2020) or M.Sc. Geoinformatics is through (MGI-2020) subsequent admission are as follows:
If candidate opts for MEVST, then the candidate should have passed:
Qualifying exam and subject: The Bachelors examination from any recognized University or its equivalent examination with any of the following subjects – Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Geography, Geology, Life Sciences, Environment Sciences,
Microbiology, Biotechnology, Fisheries, Marine Biology, Horticulture, Agriculture, Computer Science, Data Science, Veterinary Science, Health Sciences.
Minimum marks in qualifying exam: Secured minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates) in the above-mentioned examinations.
If candidate opts for MGI, then the candidate should have passed:
Qualifying exam and subjects: The candidate should have obtained the Bachelor’s degree in any Science subject such as Botany,
Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Geography, Geology, Life Sciences, Environment Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Fisheries, Marine Biology, Horticulture, Agriculture, Computer Science, Data Science, Veterinary Science, Health Sciences.

BVP MEVST/MGI 2020 Application Form
A candidate desirous of appearing in the BVP MEVST/MGI 2020 is required to complete the prescribed application form on or before the last date of application and submit to the University along with entrance test fee.
The application fee is Rs. 1200/-
The brief steps to complete the online application form of BVP MEVST/MGI 2020 is given below:
Step 1: Create their login credential
Step 2: Have a scanned image of their recent passport size photograph
Step 3: Have a scanned image of their signature, ready before filling up the online application form.
Step 4: Read the procedure and guidelines for online payments of test fee which is to be made through Credit Card / Debit Card/ Internet Banking.

CET MEVST /MGI Admit Card 2020
Admit card will be available online to candidates after successfully filling up the online application form and payment of the entrance test fee. Candidates are required to download and print a copy of the admit card. Candidates MUST bring the following documents to the test centre:
- Printed copy of Admit Card
- Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired): Aadhaar Card /PAN card/Driving license/Voter ID/Passport. The name on the photo identification must match with the name as show on the Admit card.
Candidate reporting to test center without the above said requisite documents shall not be allowed to appear for the entrance test.
BVP MEVST/MGI 2020 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of BVP MEVST/MGI is given below:
Question paper language: One question paper that is set in English medium
Number of questions: There are 100 question asked in the exam
Type of question: All questions are MCQ type
Marking scheme: Each correct answer has one mark. There is no negative marking.

BVP MEVST / MGI 2020 Result
The University will prepare a single merit list for admission to M.Sc. Environment Science and Technology(MEVST) or M.Sc. Geoinformatics(MGI) of all the candidates who have appeared for the MEVST/MGI -2020 entrance test.
The combined merit list of MEVST/MGI-2020 (Based on 100 marks) will be declared on the scheduled date. The separate merit list will be prepared for the Regular category and Foreign/NRI/PIO/OCI/ Institutional Quota Merit Category. The merit list shall be displayed at bvuniversity.edu.in and shall be displayed at the designated centre in Pune.
It is not possible to send individual invitation for counselling to the candidates. It shall be the responsibility of the individual candidate to see their own merit number and appear for the counselling at the centre of his/her choice as per schedule.
BVP MEVST/MGI 2020 Counselling and Admissions
The counseling sessions will be conducted at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune-Satara Road,Pune-411043. Failure to report for counseling on the scheduled date and time may result in instantaneous cancellation of the seat.
- The candidate must note that appearance for the examination and inclusion of name in the merit list does not necessarily mean that he/she will get admission to the college & course. The admission will depend upon the availability of seats to the particular programme and institute at the time of his counselling.
- Individual counselling letters are not going to be sent. The candidate should attend counselling & on the spot admissions on their own as per the schedule given.
- Waiting list for candidate of each category will be prepared separately and a seat which will fall vacant before the cut off date will be offered to the next candidate in the waiting list. However the seats falling vacant after cut off date will be offered to any available candidates.
BVP MEVST/MGI 2020 Documents Required
At the time of counseling, you are required to produce the following documents in original, failure to do so will result in instantaneous cancellation of your claim for admission. You are also required to submit two photocopies of each of these documents duly attested.
- For a proof of date of Birth: SSC Certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate
- Certificate of Domicile/Nationality Certificate.
- Statement of marks of B.Sc. examination. (All three years)
- Statement of marks of 12th std examination.
- Transfer Certificate from the Institution in which you had studied last.
- Migration Certificate.
- Caste certificate and Caste Validity Certificate (in case of ST / SC candidate only.)
- Character certificate from a responsible person.
- Certificate of Medical Fitness.
- Six recent passport-size photographs.
- The amount of Tuition fees, other fees and Hostel fees in case you need an admission to Hostel.
- Attested copies of first & last page of ration card / latest telephone bill for proof and permanent address.

Foreign / NRI / PIO / Management Merit Seats : Out of the sanctioned intake, 15% seats are reserved under Foreign / NRI /P.I.O. / OCI/ Institutional Quota Merit Category. Candidates seeking admissions to the seats under Foreign / NRI /P.I.O. / OCI/ Institutional Quota Merit category will have to apply separately on a prescribed application form. The application form is available at the office of The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University).

Mode of Payment of Fees shall be as given below:
The fee is to be paid through Bank Draft of any Nationalized bank drawn in the name of “The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune payable at Pune”.
Field work charges of Rs. 25,000/- (approximately) have to be paid in addition to the fees for the first year only. It has to be paid through Bank Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of the “The Director, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Institute of Environment Education and Research,Pune” payable at Pune on the day of counselling itself.
