CA CPT Registration 2017

The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is open only to students registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the Common Proficiency Course on or before 1st April / 1st October and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions.

CA CPT Registration 2017 for the Common Proficiency Test first step is to register for the Common Proficiency Course (CPC). Candidates must first register with ICAI and only then they can fill the CA CPT June 2017 application form, or CA CPT December 2017 application form. Before applying for the exam, candidate must register for the Common Proficiency Test Course.

Application Form for Registration to Common Proficiency Test Course

CA CPT Registration 2017 – To appear in the CPT Jun 2017 examination, candidate must have registered on or before 03 Apr 2017 and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions. Interested student can fill the registration form from the mentioned below link.

A student who has passed the 10th standard examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto may register for Common Proficiency Course (CPC).

How to register for CA CPT 2017?

  1. Go to http://www.icai.org/cptform.html.
  2. Enter the following details.
    • Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Parents’ Names
    • Address for communication
    • Category
    • Nationality
    • Medium of Study
    • Details of Educational Qualifications
    • Annual income of parents
    • If already student of Professional Education, provide unique registration code.
  3. Make payment via credit / debit card.
  4. Submit the form.

CA CPT Examination Fees for filling up Examination Form online

  • Rs. 500/- (for opting a Centre in India)
  • INR 850/- (for opting Kathmandu Centre)
  • US$ 150/- (for opting Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai or Muscat Centres)

The fees for new registrants for the Chartered Accountancy course is as follows.

India National residing in India Rs. 6100/-
Indian National residing in SAARC Countries Rs. 6100/-
Indian National residing in a place other than (a) & (b) US$ 590 (US$580 + US$10)
Foreign National belonging to SAARC Countries Rs. 6100/-
For other than stated in (d) above US$ 590 (US$ 580 + US$10)

Details of course Fee for new registrants (As per last year)

Registration Fee Rs. 6000/- for students stated in (a),(b) & (d); and US$ 580 for students stated in (c) & (e)
Cost of CPT Prospectus Rs. 100 for India/SAARC Students and for others US$ 10
Subscription for Student’s Journal Rs. 200/- (for India/ SAARC Students) and for others US$ 20 (for one year)(Optional but strongly recommended)
Subscription for Member’s Journal Rs. 400/- (for India/ SAARC Students) and for others US$ 40 (for one year)(Optional)

Students can pursue chartered accountancy course either through Common Proficiency Test (CPT) route or through Direct Entry Scheme.

Who can submit online application form through CA CPT Registration?

  • Candidates must enrol with the Institute for Common Proficiency Course (CPC) after passing class 10th examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto.
  • Candidates who have appeared and passed in the class 12th or equivalent exam can then apply for the CA CPT exam.

  1. i have purchase the ca cpc form from icai bhawan on march and i have not submitted the form till 1st april and i want to submit the the form in april for december attempt can i submit the same form to icai is this possible.please tell me sir……

  2. Just abhi maina 12th ka ezam diya h or result bhi nhi aya ha toh main cpt ka registration kr sakti hu or uska cpt ka exam kab dena ha konsi date ko dena honga agar abhi registered kiya toh

  3. i am bcom student going to third year finished my 10th in 2013 but did not register for cpt then. am i eligible to register now want to give th exam in dec 2017
