CCMT 2020 Eligibility Criteria – The eligibility requirements for Centralized Counselling for M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan / M.Des (CCMT) 2020 admissions is provided on this page. CCMT counselling process which will be held exclusively for GATE qualifiers. However, if a qualifier does not satisfy the CCMT Eligibility Criteria they will not be considered for seat allocation. It should be noted that on this page, only CCMT 2020 Eligibility Requirements will be mentioned. CCMT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who fulfill the following eligibility requirements will take participate in CCMT 2020. If even a single requirement below is not satisfied, candidates will be termed ineligible and will not participate in the admission procedure.
GATE Score – A candidate must have a valid GATE Scorecard, i.e. for the year 2018 or 2019 or 2020.
Qualifying Examination – In the qualifying degree a candidate must obtain a minimum of:
- 6.5 CGPA (on a 10- point scale) or 60% for OC/OB candidates.
- 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
If Qualifying Degree is awaited – In case, the result of qualifying degree is awaited then provisional admission will be granted to a student, provided they produce the required documents before the lapse of the deadline given by the conducting body. Also, in this cases:-
- All the exams should have been completed before the deadline with No backlog papers.
- A certificate to that effect and Mark sheet/Grade card till pre-final semester should be submitted at the Reporting Centre during document verification.
For every programme, eligibility is defined based on certain combinations of degree-disciplines and GATE papers. For the seat matrix and eligibility matrix please refer to document given below of CCMT official website, it provides the number of seats available under the different category in each programme.
For certain programmes in some Institutes, special eligibility criteria are applicable (given below as Special Eligibility Conditions). Eligibility against these requirements shall not be checked during the registration process. Candidates must be required to ensure that they fulfill all such requirements before filling and applying for such programs as their choices. Candidate will be solely responsible for checking of these requirements; CCMT will not entertain any claims arising out of failure on part of the candidate applying without ensuring compliance of their candidature.
