CCS HAU Entrance Exam Result 2018 – The Result of Entrance Tests/Agriculture Aptitude Test will be displayed on University website http://www.hau.ernet.in. Candidates are advised to visit official website. ‘Result of Entrance Test/Agriculture Aptitude Test of B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4-year, 6-year (2+4) and Result of Common Entrance Test of M.Sc. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Plant Physiology, Microbiology, Zoology, Food Science & Technology and M.Sc. (Ag.) all disciplines shall also be displayed on the Notice Board of Fletcher Bhawan’ of the University. A copy of result of above M.Sc. programmes shall also be displayed on the Notice Board of Office of Dean, PGS.

Result of Entrance Test will be Published on University website. Candidates qualifying the Entrance Test should report to the Admission Committee in the Committee Room of Dean, Postgraduate Studies Building, CCS HAU Hisar for verification of documents for admission.

  • There is no provision for rechecking or re-evaluation of answer sheets and no enquiry in this regard shall be entertained.

Admission Procedure

Candidates who will qualify the Entrance test will be required to fill in the counselling form on official website. Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500 (Except B.Tech) and then fill in the name of colleges and the Undergraduate/ Postgraduate courses they wish to select. Candidates will have to visit the respective Campuses on the scheduled dates of counselling with the list of documents for verification.

Undergraduate programmes

B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme and B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year (2+4) programme.
Candidates who have qualified the Entrance Test/Agriculture Aptitude Test for B.Sc.(Hons.) Ag. 4-year programme shall be required to report at the College of Agriculture Auditorium for attendance and after obtaining attendance slip, report to the Admission Committee consisting of the Dean, College of Agriculture and Registrar/his representative.

B.Sc (H) Community Science 4 yr programme

All eligible candidate of 4 year Programme who have applied for admission as per rules, are required to report at the College of Home Science Auditorium for attendance and after obtaining attendance slip report to the Admission Committee consisting of the Dean, College of Home Science and Registrar / his representative.

General for B.Sc (Hons) Ag. / B.Sc (Hons) Community Science

Admission shall be allowed on the basis of availability of seats. Candidates admitted shall have to pay fees etc. there and then.

Candidates admitted are required to report for registration on due dates failing which they will forfeit their fee and claim of admission.

Admission procedure for M.Sc.

M.Sc (except chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Plant Physiology, Microbiology, Zoology, Environment Science, Food Science & Technology, M.Sc (Ag.) all disciplines) and Ph.D Programmes

Merit in the qualifying examination.

M.Sc- chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Plant Physiology, Microbiology, Zoology, Environment Science, Food Science & Technology, M.Sc (Ag.) all disciplines

Merit in the Common Entrance Test. The minimum cut off marks in the Common Entrance Test for the above M.Sc programmes are 40% for General Category and 38% marks for scheduled caste candidates (there will be no negative marking) to get admission in Masters programme as per qualification.

Admission Proedure  for MBA(General)/MBA(Agribusiness):

Admission to MBA programme will be made on merit firstly on the basis of CAT/ MAT Score (or any other AICTE recognized test score) and thereafter on the remaining vacant seat, if any, on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination such that available approved capacity is fully utilized.

Eligibility for MBA (General) / MBA (Agribusiness) with respect to qualification and CAT/ MAT Score (or any other AICTE recognized test score) shall be proved by the candidates at the time of counselling.
