CEE AMPAI 2018 – The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2018 will be organised by Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes (AMPAI) for the candidates seeking admission to the various Degree courses in Engineering and Pharmacy. AMPAI will conduct this examination for the candidates in the State and National level. Admission will be based on the merit position of the candidate in the CEE 2018 and the physical counselling.

The CET AMPAI 2018 will be held in the following colleges of West Bengal:
- JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani with total 360 seats.
- Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata with total 330 seats.
- Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Kolkata with 270 seats in total.
- Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Kolkata with 60 seats.
- Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Engineering College, Kolkata with 144 seats.

Candidates who will apply for CEE AMPAI 2018 will have to go through the eligibility criteria given by the conducting body before filling the application form. The candidates need to be eligible in the following way:
Citizenship – The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age – The candidates must be 17 years of age as on December 31, 2018. There will be no upper limit. The date of birth mentioned in the Class X certificate will only consider as eligible.

Exam Syllabus – The questions for CEE AMPAI 2018 will be based on the WBJEE 2018 syllabus.
Domicile Certificate – The candidates seeking admission under reserved quota in colleges mentioned above will have to submit the domicile certificate in prescribed format from a competent authority. The Domicile Certificate will be accepted for those candidates who are either residing in any State/UT of India continuously for last 10 years as on December 31, 2018 or whose parent(s) is/are permanent resident of any State/UT of India having permanent address within the state (Proforma B).
To apply for CEE AMPAI 2018, the candidates will have to fill the application form which will be available on the official website www.ampai.in. The application form can be filled in two ways:
Online Mode – The candidates can fill the application form online by registering themselves on the website. After registration, the candidates will have to login by using the email ID and password generated by the system and can start filling the application form. Once the complete form will be submitted, then the candidates will have to pay the online application fee in one sitting only.
Offline Mode – Another way of filling the application form will be through offline mode in which the candidates will have to download the form and take a print out from the website. Candidates will have to fill the complete form and send it along with the DD of the application fee and important documents either in person or by post
After the completion of the application process, the CEE AMPAI 2018 Admit Card will be issued to the candidates and it will be available online on the website www.ampai.in. The candidates need to download the admit card and take a print out of their respective admit cards. Candidates will have to carry the printed copy of the admit cards at the time of examination.
The applied candidates need to follow the exam pattern of CEE AMPAI 2018 before appearing for the final written examination. The exam pattern will be as follows:
Question Type – Each subject will consist of Multiple Choice Questions with four options for each question and the answer will be marked in the OMR sheet. The questions will be in two categories:

Marking Scheme – In category 1, each correct answer will get one mark and in category 2, each correct answer will get two marks. There will be no negative marking in both the categories.
Mode of Answering – The questions must be answered on specially designed machine readable answer sheets (OMR sheets). The candidates will have to mark (bubble) the answer with blue/black point pen on the OMR sheet only.
Procedure for CEE AMPAI 2018
- The candidates will have to report half an hour before the commencement of the examination.
- Candidates must bring the admit card of CEE 2018 along with the admit card of Class X/XII examination as photo identity card and blue/black pen.
- Candidates without the admit card, will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
- Candidates will not be allowed to carry any textual material, printed copies or bits of paper at the examination hall.
- Candidates must leave the examination hall by giving the OMR sheet to the invigilator or else the OMR sheet for the concerned subject will be cancelled.
Declaration of Result
The result of the CEE AMPAI 2018 will be declared in the last week of May 2018 on the official website www.ampai.in. The OMR sheets of the candidates will be scanned and scored and lastly, the result will be prepared on the basis of the separate list for B.Tech and B.Pharm courses. The candidates can check their results by login using the email Id and password generated at the time of application.
Counselling and Admission
The candidates will get the detailed information regarding admission to the concerned college and allotment of seats on the official website as per the scheduled dates. The candidates’ admission will be based on the scores obtained in the written examination, the number of seats available in the concerned colleges and previous years cut-offs. Candidates need to keep in mind that being Merit Listed alone will not make a candidate eligible for the respective courses in the concerned colleges.
