CEED 2020 Question Paper and Answer Key – The question paper of Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Students can download question paper online from the website ceed.iitb.ac.in. The exam has two parts which are Part A and Part B. Part A has 3 sections and Part B has 5 sections. CEED 2020 Question Paper and Answer Key
The question paper is divided into 2 parts which are Part A and Part B. Part A has 3 sections of NAT, MSQ and MCQ. Part B has 5 sections of sketching, creativity, form sensitivity, visual sensitivity and problem identification.

Details About CEED 2020 Question Paper
Students on opening the question paper should read the instructions properly. Some of the instructions are provided in next few lines. The students who have diploma degree of at least 3 years are also eligible to give exam. To download the answer key the students can use login id and password. While writing the answers of Part B, students can take help of crayons, color pencils and sketch pens. If the students do not attempt the question in the question paper then no deductions in the marks are going to happen. Question paper carries 41 questions in Part A and 5 questions in Part B. Students must attempt all the questions before starting answering and after reading instructions.
- Language: The language of the exam is English only.
- Exam Mode: Part A of the exam is online and the students can mark answers in computer. On the other hand, Part B of the exam is offline and the students can mark answers on the
- Sections: The exam is divided into two sections which are Part A and Part B.
- Number of Questions: 41 questions are there in Part A and 5 questions are there in Part B.
- Type of Questions: Part A has numerical answer type questions, multiple select questions and multiple choice questions and Part B has sketching, form sensitivity, creativity, visual sensitivity and problem identification.
- Duration of the exam: The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
How to use CEED 2020 Question Paper and Answer Key?
The formula for the calculation of marks in Part A and Part B is given below. Steps to calculate score for both the parts can be followed as given.
Step 1: Part A is divided into three sections. Section I carries 10 questions from NAT section and section II carries 10 questions from MSQ and section III has 25 questions from MCQ.
Step 2: 3 marks is given for correctly answering section I questions, 2 marks is given for correctly answering section II and III questions.
Step 3: The formula to calculate score of Part A – 3 X (Number of correct answers from NAT questions) + 2 X (Number of correct answers from MSQ questions) + 2 X (Number of correct answers from MCQ questions) – 0.6 X (Number of incorrect answers from MCQ questions) can be used by students.
Step 4: The formula to calculate score of Part B – 20 X (Number of section answered correctly) can be used by the students.
Step 5: Add the marks calculated in step 3 and step 4. The result is the final marks or raw score attained by student.
Qualifying Marks for CEED 2020 Exam
The minimum marks which the students must score in Part A are given below.

Note – In the final score 25% of importance is carried by Part A and 75% importance is carried by Part B.
About CEED 2020
The Common Entrance Exam for Design is conducted by IIT, Bombay. Students can register online to apply for the exam. The fee for applying online is Rupees 1,300 for women, Rupees 1,300 for SC or ST or PwD students and Rupees 2,600 for other students. the mode of payment for applying online is credit card, debit card and Net-banking.
