CENTAC 2019: The result for CENTAC 2019 examination will be out after the entrance examination. It has been contemplated that the result of Group 1, 4 and 6 shall be released in the month of July 2019. The result will be available in the form of merit list in which the names of the candidates who have qualified the examination and are eligible to attend the counselling will be mentioned according to the ranking secured by them. There are 7 groups in total but however, the result will be announced only for group 1, 4 and 6. The remaining groups will announce the merit list for the appearing students. Only Group 1, 4 and 6 will contain the entrance test in the admission procedure. The remaining groups will release their own merit list for the appearing candidates for the same. How to check CENTAC 2019 Result
Candidates must go through the following steps to know the procedure of the result. The result will be available on the official website of CENTAC Puducherry. No post will be sent to any candidate regarding the result or counselling.
- Visit the official website www.centacpuducherry.ac.in or get the direct link on this page.
- The merit list according to the group and programme will be available on the website.
- Select the programme which you have applied for.
- Click on the “Submit” button to proceed further.
- The list will appear on your tour screen.
- Download and take a print out of it for future references.
CENTAC 2019 Counselling
The counselling round will take place after the declaration of the result. Candidates reserve the right to opt for online counselling that is to freeze the seat through the login ID or attend the offline counselling.
If the students have made the full payment of application/processing fees then they will be allowed to for online counselling. Candidates should prioritise the preferences as per their choice, i.e., their preferences will be assigned serial numbers – 1,2,3,4 etc. Candidates can change the priorities by rearranging the same. After each round of the counselling, candidates may have to fill the new preferences online. The preferences are final when they are submitted officially online and no change will made after that. However, CENTAC reserves the right to permit all the students to alter the preferences for the subsequent rounds of admission. If such a decision is taken, the students will be intimated.
