CENTAC 2019: Centralised Admission Committee conducts the entrance examination for the admission in various UG, PG and Diploma courses. The official dates are not being announced by the Committee yet but the contemplated schedule is given below where candidates can a get a slight idea about the upcoming events and the important dates in 2019. CENTAC is the admission committee of Pondicherry. Candidates first need to fill the application form for the same and then appear in the entrance test. CENTAC 2019

The CENTAC 2019 examination for various groups shall start in the month of June 2019. The entrance test will take place in different test centres allotted by the Centralised Admission Committee of Puducherry.

Selection Process

Biology-based Degree Courses

Courses like B.V.Sc., & A.H. / B.P.T.,/ B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (MLT)/B.Sc. (MRIT) maintains certain criteria for the admission through CENTAC. The admissions are based on the marks obtained by the candidates in prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination.

Required subjects are Biology/Botany and Zoology, Physics and Chemistry (including practicals) and Biotechnology (only for BPT) and normalizing them by the prescribed procedure.

Admission for B.V.Sc. Course under Special Allocation

Filling up of seats under NRI category (4 Seats): Under this category, only NRI candidates (or) wards of NRI parents are eligible to apply. Selection of students is done based on NEET score. If any seat falls vacant under this category, the same will be filled from the merit list of Self financing candidates

Filling up of seats under Self-financing category (5 Seats): Under this category, candidates from any part of India, willing to study for the same fees as prescribed for the NRI category candidates. Selection of students is done based on NEET score. If any seat falls vacant under this category, the same will be filled from the merit list of NRI candidates

Filling up of seats under Foreign National category (2 Seats): Under this category, only candidates who are born outside India and currently holding a foreign passport are eligible to apply. Selection of students is done based on the marks in the qualifying exam. If there are any vacant seats under the Foreign National category, it will be filled from the merit list of NRI candidates. If candidates are not available under NRI merit list, then the vacant seats will be filled from the merit list of Self Financing category.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture & B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture

Admission is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination (i.e. Biology / (Botany & Zoology), Physics, Chemistry and any one of the optional subjects like Bio-Chemistry or Bio- Technology or Microbiology or Home Science or Computer Science & Mathematics including practicals) and normalizing them by the prescribed procedure

B.Sc (MLT) Course

H.Sc. Vocational Stream admission is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination. i.e. for H.Sc. Vocational: Physics, Foundation Science and Medical Laboratory Assistant Course (including practical’s) and normalizing them by the prescribed procedure. Equal weightage will be given to all the above three prescribed subjects. In case a candidate has appeared in more than one of the prescribed optional subjects, the subject in which the candidate has obtained highest marks will be taken into consideration for normalization and for calculating the total marks. Wherever separate marks for practicals are awarded, the same will be considered along with the respective subjects, for arriving at the total actual marks.

B.Tech. Degree Course

Admission is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the prescribed subjects of the qualifying examination (i.e. for H.Sc. Academic: Mathematics, Physics and any one of the optional subjects (Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Sciences / Biology / Botany & Zoology) & for H.Sc. Vocational: Vocational Subject Theory, Vocational Subject Practical and a related Subject) and normalizing them by the prescribed procedure. Equal weightage will be given to all the three prescribed subjects. In case a candidate has appeared in more than any one of the above prescribed optional subjects, the subject in which the candidate has obtained the highest marks will be taken into consideration for “Normalization” and for calculating the actual total marks in the prescribed subjects. Wherever separate marks for practical are awarded, the same will be considered along with the respective subjects, for arriving at the total actual marks.

B.Pharm. Degree Course

Admission is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination. i.e. for H.Sc. Academic: Physics, Chemistry and one of the following optional subjects (Mathematics / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology / Botany & Zoology) in which the candidate has scored the highest marks (including practicals) and “normalizing” them by the prescribed procedure.

B.A.LL.B. Degree Course

Admission is based on the percentage of marks in aggregate of all subjects obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination. [No normalization of marks].

Degree Course

Admission is based on the percentage of marks in aggregate of all subjects obtained by the candidates in any bachelor degree of any university or its equivalent. [In case of more than one bachelor degree, marks of the first degree alone will be considered. Post Graduate marks will not be considered]

Note: Selection of Candidates for admission to all the degree courses will be based on the Merit lists prepared by CENTAC, based on the marks arrived at by adopting the ‘method of normalization’, as detailed in para below. Ranking of the candidates will be done based on the ‘normalized marks’ (rounded-off to three decimal places) arrived at, to a base of 200.

For DGNM, DANM, DMLT

Selection of Candidates for admission to the Diploma courses (after higher Secondary / 10+2) will be based on the percentage of total marks (merit marks) obtained in the respective Qualifying Examinations. Ranking of the candidates will be done based on the ‘merit marks’.

UG Arts & Science Courses

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to appear for the Under Graduate programmes must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination from the authorised board thereto acceptable to the Pondicherry University, Puducherry.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on the Merit List prepared by the CENTAC. The Committee follows a method to make the apt merit list.

Method –  The highest mark obtained in any ONE language paper (English, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Arabic or French) and the marks of the best three main papers irrespective of the board of examination will be taken into consideration to arrive at the aggregate percentage.

UG Performing and Fine Art Courses

Eligibility Criteria

For BPA: +2 of any State Board or Equivalent

For BVA: +2 of any State Board or Equivalent and secured at least 45% of marks (40% of marks in case the candidate from Reservation category) in the qualifying examination.

Age Limit: The candidate must has not completed 23 years of age as on 1st July 2019. However, the age relaxation by three years is applicable to PH/SC/ST candidates. For lateral entry admission in music and dance courses, the candidates must not have completed 25 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission.

Selection Process

BVA Degree Courses: There will be an Entrance test in General Knowledge on History of Arts subject carrying 20 marks. Besides Practical aptitude test will be conducted on Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and Applied Art to the students for which applications are made. The selection will be made on the basis of the marks scored in the Entrance/Aptitude tests.

BPA Degree Courses (Music): A Practical aptitude test will be conducted on Vocal, Veena, Violin and Mrudhangam to the students for which applications are made. The selection will be made on the basis of the marks scored in the Aptitude tests.

BPA Degree Courses (Dance): A Practical aptitude test will be conducted on Bharathanatiyam to the students for which applications are made. The selection will be made on the basis of the marks scored in the Aptitude tests.

Note: If there is a tie in the merit list. the date of birth is the criteria for breaking the tie. The merit list will be prepared accordingly with the marks secured by the students in the Practical/Aptitude test in the subject concerned and also as per the Reservation Quota.

UG Educational Courses

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Ed

  • Candidates shall be eligible for the admission to two years Bachelor’s Degree course in Education [B.Ed.,(Non-semester)] provided that he/she should have passed the three years Bachelor’s Degree Course under 11+1+3 or 10+2+3 pattern of study or five years integrated Master’s Degree Course under 10+2+5 pattern of study and majored in any one of the subjects related to a school subject offered at the Secondary/Senior or higher secondary education level (OR) four years Bachelor’s Degree Course in Engineering/Technology under 11+1+4 or 10+2+4 pattern of study (with Mathematics and Science in both higher secondary and Engineering programmes)
  • Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks either in Part-III (Main + Allied) of the Bachelor’s degree course or in the Master’s degree course in the same subject of specialization (In case of OBC, BCM, MBC, EBC, SC, BT, and Physically Challenged Candidates, one should have scored a minimum of 40% marks)
  • Candidates should have scored a minimum of 55% of marks in Bachelor’s degree Course in Engineering / Technology. (In case of SC candidates, one should have scored a minimum of 50%marks).
  • Candidates who have taken more than one school subject as Main (Double or Triple Major) in the Bachelor’s Degree will be eligible for admission to only one of the school subjects chosen.
  • There is no upper age limit for admission to two year B. Ed., Programme.

For D.El.Ed

  • Candidates must have scored minimum of 50 % of marks in the H.Sc. or in the equivalent (10+2) examination. In case of SC/ST/OBC/MBC, etc., one should have scored a minimum of 45% of marks
  • The upper age limit is not exceeding 29 years as on  July 31, of the year of admission and relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC, MBC, etc.
  • Candidates must study the Tamil language as one of the subjects in both the years of D.El.Ed. course.

UG Hotel Management and Catering Courses

  • Candidate must be a pass out in 10+2 in any stream with English as the main subject.

For Degree –  2 years as on 1/7/2019 for Open Category and 25 years for SC/ST as on July 01, of the year of admission.

For Diploma – 25 years as on 1/7/2019 for Open Category and 28 years for SC/ST as on July 01, of the year of admission.

Selection Process

For B.Sc Degree, admission is through JEE, generally held in April every year. After JEE 2019, residual vacancies of seats if any, will be considered as per the aggregate marks obtained in +2 exam.

For Diploma courses, consideration will be as per aggregate marks obtained in Plus 2 exam*.

* Selection of Candidates for admission to all the Degree / Diploma courses will be based on the Merit list prepared by CENTAC.

Method

P.G. Professional Courses

Courses Offered

  • M.Tech.: B.E./B.Tech. in a respective field through the regular course of study from an AICTE approved institution (OR) an examination of any University or Authority accepted by the Pondicherry University as equivalent thereto, with at least 55% marks in the degree examination or equivalent CGPA.
  • M.C.A.: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications / Computer Science/Information Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Corporate Secretary-ship / Economics/ Business Administration with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications as one of the subjects (OR) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% marks. (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)
  • M.B.A.: Bachelors’ degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)
  • M.Sc.: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics as main subject and Chemistry and Mathematics as ancillaries. (OR) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry as main subject and Physics and Mathematics as ancillaries. (OR) Bachelor’s Degree in Science – Applied Science.   • M.V.Sc.: B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree recognized by Veterinary Council of India with a minimum O.G.P.A. of 6.0 in 10.0 point scale. (5.5 for SC/ST candidates). In other grading systems, OGPA/Marks will be appropriately proportioned with 10 point grading scale
  • M.Sc. (Nursing): Minimum educational qualification shall be B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. [50% for SC/ST].
  • M. Pharm.: Minimum educational qualification shall be B.Pharm. with minimum 55% of aggregate marks. [50% for SC/ST]. The candidates applying for admission to the M.Pharm course should have studied B.Pharm. in an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and All India Council for Technical Education.
  • M.P.T: Minimum educational qualification shall be B.P.T. from a recognized university, on full-time basis, with a duration of not less than 3 years of course of study and 6 months of compulsory rotatory internship. The minimum aggregate marks shall be 55%. [50% for SC/ST].
  • M.Sc. (Agri.): Minimum educational qualification shall be a degree in B.Sc.(Ag.) / B.Sc.(Hort.) / B.Sc.(Forestry) / B.Tech(Hort.) / B.Tech (Ag.Biotech) / B.E.(Ag.)/ B.Tech (Ag.Engg.) /B.F.Sc./ B.V.Sc. / B.Sc. Dairy Science / B.Sc. (Sericulture) / B.Sc.(Home Sci.) / B.Sc. (Ag.Maco.) / B.S.(ABM)/ B.Tech. (AIT) & B.S. (ABM) with an OGPA of 3.25 out of 4.00 or 7.50 out of 10.00 or 75 percent aggregate alone is eligible to apply.
  • M.Sc. (Horti.): Minimum educational qualification shall be a degree in B.Sc.(Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.Tech. (Ag.Biotech.) / B.Tech (Hort.) with an OGPA of 3.25 out of 4.00 or 7.50 out of 10.00 or 75 percent aggregate alone is eligible to apply
  • LL.M.: Candidates applying for this programme should have passed B.L. / LL.B. degree of any recognized university or its equivalent and should have secured not less than 45% of marks in aggregate in the Three / Five years of B.L. / LL.B. degree.

Selection Procedure

  • For M.Tech: Candidates applying for this programme should have passed B.L. / LL.B. degree of any recognized university or its equivalent and should have secured not less than 45% of marks in aggregate in the Three / Five years of B.L. / LL.B. degree.
  • For MCA / MBA/ M.Sc & M.Phil: Selection is based on the aggregate of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations. Tie, if any, will be resolved by considering the aggregate marks/CGPA, in the qualifying examinations. For candidates with an engineering degree, aggregate marks/CGPA of the qualifying examination, from 3rd to 8th semester will be considered. For all other candidates, aggregate marks/CGPA in Part-III of the qualifying examination will be considered.
  • For M.V.Sc.: The selection of candidates to M.V.Sc. Degree Programme will be based both on marks obtained in the B.V.Sc. examination and the PG Entrance Examination-2018 (PGEE-2018) with equal weightage. The candidate shall secure a minimum of 50% in the entrance examination to be eligible to get admission for M.V.Sc. Programme.
  • For M. Sc. (Nursing): The selection of candidates will be based on the merit list drawn from the merit marks, giving 50% weightage to the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination and 50% weightage to the MTIET (PG)-18 entrance examination marks. The entrance examination will be conducted by Mother Theresa Post Graduate & Research Institute of Health Sciences (MTPG&RIHS), Gorimedu, Puducherry.
  • For M.Pharma: The selection of candidates shall be based on a valid GPAT-18 (All India Test) percentile/score. In case of a tie in the GPAT score, the aggregate marks of the qualifying examination will be the criteria for ranking. The GPAT candidates need not to appear for the MTIET (PG) entrance examination. The entrance examination will be conducted by Mother Theresa Post Graduate & Research Institute of Health Sciences (MTPG&RIHS), Gorimedu, Puducherry.
  • For M.P.T.: The selection of candidates will be based on the merit list drawn from the merit marks, giving 50% weightage to the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination and 50% weightage to the MTIET (PG)-18 entrance examination marks. The entrance examination will be conducted by Mother Theresa Post Graduate & Research Institute of Health Sciences (MTPG&RIHS), Gorimedu, Puducherry.
  • For M.Sc. (Agri.) & M.Sc. (Horti.): The candidate who has undergone the course credit system with an OGPA of 3.25 out of 4.00 or 7.50 out of 10.00 or 75 percent aggregate alone is eligible to apply for various Master’s degree programmes in this Institute. However, this will not apply to SC/ST candidates/State Department nominees. Just a pass in the concerned degree is sufficient for them.
  • For Law: Candidates who have applied Law PG Admissions courses will be ranked on merit on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination. Ranking will be made on the basis of percentage of marks in aggregate of all subjects obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination.

P.G. Arts and Science Courses

Courses Offered

  • M.A.: Bachelor’s degree in a respective field with a minimum of 50% of marks. A candidate seeking admission to these courses should have passed and secured a minimum of 50% marks in the main and allied subjects.
  • M.Sc.: Bachelor’s degree in Physics with Mathematics and Chemistry as ancillaries and a minimum of 55% of marks.
  • M.Com.: Must have passed B.Com. A candidate seeking admission to this course should have passed in the subject and secured a minimum of 50% marks in the main and allied subjects.
  • M.Phil: Admission to this programme is restricted to the residents of the Union Territory of Puducherry. However, eligible Non-Resident candidates will be considered for admission in the absence of eligible Resident candidates. Candidates should have obtained 55% in the qualifying examination in the concerned subject of the Pondicherry University or of any other University, recognized by Pondicherry University as equivalent thereto.
  • M.S.W: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % of marks
  • Lateral Entry Courses (M.C.A): Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (Information Technology/Computer Science) with mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at the graduate level with a minimum of 50% marks. (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).

Selection Procedure

Only Part III marks (excluding internal assessment marks) in the end semester examinations are considered for calculation of the percentage of marks. Environmental studies is only an awareness paper and so it is excluded in the calculation of the percentage of marks. Total marks are to be compared. Total marks are to be compared. In case, the total marks are also the same, the dates of birth are to be compared.

CENTAC 2019 – Diploma

In the context of taking admissions in various UG and PG courses, the CENTAC also invites the applications for diploma courses. There is a different criterion for the admission in the desired diploma course. Candidates are advised t firstly check the eligibility criteria before applying online for the same.

Diploma Courses in Polytechnics

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be a pass out in the S.S.L.C. examination or an examination equivalent thereto acceptable by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai.

Selection Process

The total percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination will discern the merit score prepared by the CENTAC. When a candidate produces grade certificate only the minimum marks applicable to the respective grades in the particular subject will be taken into account.

Part Time Diploma Courses

Courses Offered

Diploma: A pass in the S.S.L.C. examination or an examination equivalent thereto acceptable by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai with the minimum of 2 years full-time work experience in the registered firm/company/industry/educational and Government Autonomous organization on the relevant field on which admission is sought.

OR

A pass in the S.S.L.C. examination or an examination equivalent thereto acceptable by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai with 2 years of ITI.

P.G. Diploma: Candidates applying for this programme should have passed B.L. / LL.B. degree of any recognized university or its equivalent and should have secured not less than 45% of marks in aggregate in the three / five years of B.L. / L.L.B.

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates for admission to all the Part-time Diploma courses will be based on the Merit list prepared by CENTAC by the following criteria:

  • The marks secured in SSLC / Qualifying examination shall be reduced to a base of 80 marks. When a candidate produces grade certificate only the minimum marks applicable to the respective grades in the particular subject will be taken into account.
  • Weightage will be given for every completed year of service after passing the qualification with a maximum of 20 marks. 4 marks for each completed year of experience.
  • Selection shall be made as per ranking based on total marks secured in (i) and (ii) above (80 + 20 = 100).

CENTAC 2019 – Lateral Entry

CENTAC welcomes the lateral entry admissions in various courses. Candidates must go through the courses given below to check out the selection procedure as well as the eligibility criteria.

Lateral Entry Admissions

Eligibility Criteria

B.Com., B.Com (Co-operative Management) and B.Com. (Foreign Trade)

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Commerce or Diploma in Modern Office Practice (Three Years Course) awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu or other states shall be admitted to second year of B.Com. / B.Com. (Co-operative Management)/ ( B. Com. ( Foreign Trade) subject to the availability of seats purely on merit up to 10% of the sanctioned strength in the course. However, the total strength should not exceed the sanctioned strength.

B.C.A. and B.Sc. Computer Science

Candidates who have passed in the first attempt in the Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Technology / Computer Application in First Class (10+3 years of study) are eligible to apply for lateral entry to the second year of the course subject to the availability of the seats but limited to 10% of the sanctioned strength in each course. However, the total strength should not exceed the sanctioned strength in each course.

B.Tech

A pass in the three years Diploma Course or four years sandwich Diploma Course in Engineering / Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC candidates) in aggregate in the subjects covered in 3rd to 6th Semesters.

OR

A pass in any B.Sc. Degree ( with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Degree Level) with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC candidates) in aggregate in subjects covered from first to last semesters except for language subjects.

Diploma

  • A pass in the H.Sc. (Academic Stream) or an examination equivalent thereto acceptable by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology subjects. OR
  • A pass in the H.Sc. (Vocational Stream) in the specialization subjects. OR
  • A pass in the S.S.L.C. examination and 2 years ITI.

Under Graduate – Performing Arts and Fine Arts Courses

  • B.P.A Degree(Music): Students who have completed X std and three-year Diploma (Full time) in Vocal, Veena, Violin and Miruthangam can be admitted in the II year B.P.A Music Degree Course in their respective subject and course.
  • B.P.A Degree(Dance): Students who have completed X std and three-year Diploma (Full time) in Bharathanatiyam can be admitted in the II year B.P.A Dance Degree Course.

Under Graduate Courses In Health Sciences – Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Pharm.

  • Post Basic B.Sc.(Nursing): P.B.B.Sc.(Nsg.): Minimum educational qualification shall be diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery with a duration of not less than 3 or 3 ½ years of course of study , recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. The minimum aggregate marks shall be 50%. Passed the Higher Secondary or an equivalent (10+2) examination recognized by the university for this purpose.
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy(B.Pharm): Minimum educational qualification shall be diploma in Pharmacy of two years duration from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, with minimum 50% aggregate marks. Candidate should have completed 500 hours of hospital training and registered in any State Pharmacy Council. Passed the Higher Secondary or an equivalent (10+2) examination in Academic Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany and Zoology/ Mathematics/ Computer Science (vocational stream and open schooling are NOT eligible). The Upper age limit is 50 years as on 31st July of the year of admission.

Selection Procedure

B.Tech. – Lateral Entry

The selection of the candidate shall only be based on the marks obtained in the PRE FINAL AND FINAL SEMESTER EXAM of the candidates in the Diploma/B.Sc. Degree course. During the preparation of merit list if a tie occurs, the procedure given below will be followed one after the other to break the tie:

  • The aggregate in a percentage of the subjects of qualifying semesters of Diploma/Degree examination shall be the basis for merit.
  • In the event of this also being the same, the total percentage of marks obtained in S.S.L.C/H.Sc. or equivalent examination shall be the basis for ascertaining the merit.
  • Date of birth of higher age.
  • Candidates will be called as per their order of merit in each course. Candidates to be called for counseling will be intimated through SMS / Email.

Arts & Science

The selection of the candidate shall only be based on the marks obtained in the SECOND YEAR AND THIRD YEAR EXAMINATIONS (4 semesters) in the Diploma course. During the preparation of merit list if a tie occurs, the procedure given below will be followed one after the other to break the tie:

  • The aggregate in a percentage of the subjects of qualifying examinations (4 semesters) of Diploma shall be the basis for merit.
  • In the event of this also being the same, the total percentage of marks obtained in S.S.L.C/H.Sc. or equivalent examination shall be the basis for ascertaining the merit.
  • Date of birth of higher age.
  • Candidates will be called as per their order of merit in each course. Candidates to be called for counseling will be intimated through SMS / Email.

Diploma Courses

Selection of candidates for admission under 12th (Academic Stream) / 12th (Technical/Vocational Stream) will be based on the total percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Admission to all the Diploma courses will be based on the Merit list prepared by CENTAC. When a candidate produces grade certificate only the minimum marks applicable to the respective grades in the particular subject will be taken into account.

Selection of candidates for admission under (10th + 2 years ITI) will be based on the total percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (ITI).

Under Graduate Courses In Health Sciences

P.B.B.Sc. (NURSING): The selection of candidates will be based on the merit list drawn from the merit marks, i.e., the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (DGNM). The allotment of seats to in-service candidates will be based on the list from the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services (DH&FWS), Govt. of Puducherry / JIPMER. If there is any existing vacancy in the respective category of the in-service seats, it will be filled by the other institute in-service candidates. If there is still any existing vacancy in the in-service seats, the non-service candidates will be considered for admission as per the merit marks.

B.Pharm (Lateral Entry): The selection of candidates will be based on the merit list drawn from the aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying examination (D. Pharm.)

CENTAC 2019 Application Form

The application form will be available on the official website of CENTAC. The registration process will be done on an online basis only. Appearing candidates first need to check the above eligibility criteria for various courses before applying for the same. While filling the application form, candidates must ensure that they should submit the accurate copies of the asked documents on the candidate portal. No changes will be made after the submission of the application form. Aspirants are requested to stay updated with us and also visit the official website time to time.

CENTAC 2019 Admit Card

The admit card for the entrance examination of Group 1, 4 and 6 will be released on the official website of CENTAC. Only those candidates who have successfully completed the process of the online registration will be able to access their admit cards. An admit card is a hall ticket which contains the important information such as personal details of the candidate, examination centre, exam date and time, some important instructions and many more. It is mandatory to bring the admit card at the time of the entrance test else no candidate will be allowed to write the paper.

CENTAC 2019 Merit List

To take the admission in the preferred course, there will be a merit list in which the names of the eligible candidates will be enlisted according to their ranking secured. The merit list will decide that which candidate is eligible to take admission in which college (government or private). There are total seven groups under CENTAC which contain various UG, PG and Diploma Courses. The admit card will be available for those groups which have the entrance test as a part of the selection procedure.

CENTAC 2019 Counselling

Candidates have two choices if they want to go for online or offline counselling. Aspirants need to pay a particular fee to appear for the online counselling then they will be able to fill the preferences of their own. The result of the counselling will also appear on the official website. There will be several counselling rounds if the vacant seats will not be filled in the first round.
