Two of the major national level law entrance exam has been postponed due to COVID-19. These are CLAT 2020 and AILET 2020. CLAT 2020 was supposed to be held on May 10, 2020, and now will be held on May 24, 2020. On the other hand, AILET 2020 will now be held on May 31, which was scheduled for May 03, 2020. Also, for both the exams, the registration process has been pushed back.
The last date to apply for CLAT 2020 , which was earlier March 31, has been extended to April 25. On the other hand, registration for AILET 2020 has been extended until April 30, 2020.

1. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 is for admission in all National Law Universities (NLU) of India. It is conducted by the Consortium of NLU.
2. All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2020 is for admission in NLU Delhi only. The conducting body also remains NLU Delhi solely.

Notice for CLAT 2020 and AILET 2020 Revised Dates
CLAT 2020: Below is the notice uploaded on consortiumofnlus.ac.in for a revised schedule of CLAT 2020. The notice only indicates the new dates of the exam and about the extension of last date to apply for CLAT. However, other dates like uploading of answer key and challenging the keys have been also revised. These dates are available on the official website of CLAT 2020.

AILET 2020: The revision of dates for AILET 2020 is done only for the exam date and for the last date to apply. All other dates have yet not been announced. The official notice in this regard is as follows, and it can be also checked at nludelhi.ac.in.

CLAT 2020 New Schedule
Unlike all other bodies, the consortium of NLU has announced the new exam dates. Another body that had followed the same and has announced new exam dates is the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The new schedule of Common Law Admission Test is as follows:

CLAT 2020
CLAT is a national level exam, held for admission of eligible candidates in LLB, LLM, LLB 5 year integrated, etc courses. It is held in offline mode and is a 2 hours exam, of 150 marks. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 is for admission in all National Law Universities (NLU) of India. It is conducted by the Consortium of NLU.
AILET 2020
AILET is for admission in NLU Delhi only. The conducting body is also NLU Delhi. All India Law Entrance Test is conducted at the national level. It is conducted to offer admission in courses like 5 year B.A. LLB (Hons.), LLM and Ph.D. The examination takes place in the offline mode.
