CMAT 2020 Analysis – NTA successfully conducted the Common Management Admission Test on January 28, 2020, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. The paper had 4 sections quant and DI, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness with 25 questions of 100 marks each. As per candidates who appeared in the exam, the paper was overall easy to moderate. Quant was toughest largely because all the questions were from different topics. Reasoning was easy. Comparison with last year: This year, as well as last year, this section remained easy. Albeit slightly time consuming. Those who have solved a number of reasoning based questions in the past could solve the questions in less time.

Comparison with past year: The English section consists of questions from reading comprehension, error correction, para jumbles, idiom, word analogy, word meaning, grammar correction, phrase meaning, synonyms and antonyms. The analysis for English section is as follows:
- Reading comprehension was easy in comparison to previous year.
- There were 3-4 questions from Syllogism in the english section.
- Words for which antonyms and synonyms were asked were not regular, they were difficult words.
- In the reading comprehension, there was a passage on Lokmanya Tilak on which there were 6 questions. It was an easy to moderate level passage to solve.
- There were few question on fill in the blanks as well.

Comparison with past year: This is one section which generally gives nightmare to the candidates. However, in comparison to previous year, the overall difficulty level of the paper was Moderate. Though the overall section was moderate, yet, candidates commented that in the paper, the most difficult part was Mathematics. All the 25 questions were from different topics.

About CMAT 2020
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online exam, conducted by NTA at all India level for admission of students in management courses. Around 1000 institutes accept CMAT score. To appear for CMAT, candidate fill an application form online. In the exam, candiadtes have to solve 100 objective based questions in 180 minutes. Admission of the candidate is based on their score and performance in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round conducted by the institute separately.
