Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges (COMEDK) has conducted COMEDK 2018 on May 13, 2018. The last date to apply for UGET was April 20, 2018. Those who had applied were able to download their admit card from May 4, 2018. COMEDK UGET is a computer-based test for admission to 190 engineering colleges with over 20000 seats in Karnataka that are a part of the consortium. COMEDK 2018 Application Form was available online from January 16, 2018, to April 20, 2018. An application fee for the exam is Rs 1300. Candidates had to apply online before the last date. User ID and password generated in this process was to be kept safely until end of the admission process.

COMEDK 2018 Admit Card
The admit card for COMEDK 2018 will be available on May 04, 2018 in online mode only. Download it online at comedk.org by entering details such as Application Number and Password. COMEDK does not send admit card by post or any other means. The candidate must check details printed on hall ticket. Such as TAT number, name, address, contact details, photo in COMEDK 2018 Admit Card should be same as in application form. Also note details of the test centre, test timings, ID proof details, provision for sticking passport size photograph, general instructions. Candidates must also preserve the admit card for the counselling process.
COMEDK Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates from all states can appear in COMEDK. Following is the eligibility criteria for engineering and architecture.
Qualifying examination: Candidate should have completed QE 10+2 or 2nd PUC or equivalent from recognized board. His/her last two years of studies should comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English as compulsory subjects.
Minimum marks: General merit candidate should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST, OBC candidates of Karnataka state in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and also should have passed these subjects individually. Compulsory subjects are Physics and Mathematics with Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational course. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.
Diploma: Diploma candidates are not eligible for COMEDK 2018 as there is no lateral entry admission.
Qualifying examination: Candidate should have completed QE 10+2 or 2nd PUC or equivalent from recognized board with Mathematics as a subject along with other subjects. Or he/she should have a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State government.
Minimum marks: Candidate should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in respect of SC, ST, OBC candidates of Karnataka).
Entrance Exam: Candidate should have appeared in NATA (held by CoA) and obtained at least 80 marks out of 200. Apart from this, the Consortium will not hold any entrance exam for architecture.
Application Form: A separate application needs to be submitted for B.Arch admission counselling.
COMEDK 2018 Exam Pattern
The exam Pattern of COMEDK 2018 is given below.

- Negative marking: None
- Although there is no negative marking, but, if there is a tie then candidate with fewer incorrect answers gets higher rank.

This is a broader version of what the syllabus is. It is composed entirely of all the topics that are generally taught in classes 11 and 12 in any central / state board recognized in India. How to prepare for COMEDK 2018?
If you are aiming for a good score in the COMEDK 2018 entrance exam, then you can follow these simple tips.
- Study all the topics of 10+2 physics, chemistry, mathematics syllabus.
- Read everything in NCERTs. Understanding what you read is equally important so that you can rely on your understanding rather than rote learning when it comes to answering questions in exam.
- Solve at least 10 questions each of physics, chemistry, and 25 of mathematics every day.
- Once you are done with the syllabus start solving sample papers, mock tests, past year papers.

COMEDK 2018 Answer Key
COMEDK publishes provisional answer keys after exam. Provisional answer key for COMEDK uget 2018 will be published online on May 17, 2018. Candidates can submit objections to the provisional answer keys as per schedule given above. The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka considers submitted objections and releases final answer keys. The final answer key is then used to calculate marks of each candidate in COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test 2018.

Candidates can seek clarification / submit objections to provisional answer key at COMEDK 2018 login. Usually a fee amount has to be paid to submit objections.
COMEDK 2018 Result
Total marks in exam = Number of correct answers x 1. COMEDK 2018 Rank is only on basis of marks obtained in exam.

- COMEDK uses final answer key to calculate marks of a candidate in entrance exam. Accordingly final merit / rank is calculated as per candidate’s performance in Under Graduate Entrance Test.

COMEDK 2018 Seat Selection Process
The selection of seats will be on the basis of merit in the entrance examination. The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, publishes a merit/rank card on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance examination and on the basis of the rank card, the candidates will be allowed to participate in the seat selection process. The Seat Selection process for COMEDK 2018 is basically the counseling process, which is held after the declaration of result. At the time of counselling, the candidates need to bring along the relevant documents in proof of Date of Birth, Category, Academic Details, etc.
COMEDK 2018 MBBS
Candidates may note that COMEDK 2018 is not for MBBS admission. Under Graduate Entrance Test is, in fact, only for engineering admissions.
MBBS admissions are solely on basis of all India level National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education.
MBBS aspirants must therefore appear in NEET. However for counselling to state quota seats, you will have to participate in state level counselling.
