CTET Admit Card 2018 – CBSE has issued CTET 2018 Admit Card on November 22, 2018. The Central Board has issued the admit card online, on ctet.nic.in. To download it application number and password or registration number and date of birth is required. Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on December 09, 2018. The candidates need to carry CTET admit card on the exam day. Print copy of the admit card will not be sent via post or any other medium. How to Download CTET Admit Card 2018

The admit card can be downloaded by two mediums:

  • Via Application Number and Password.
  • Via Application Number and Date of Birth.

How to Download CTET Admit Card 2018 via Application Number and Password?

  • Click on the link above.
  • It will lead to a window as show below. There, click on “Download Admit Card CTET – 2018”.

  • Then, the candidates will be directed to a new pages. Here, click on “Download Admit Card Through Application Number and Password”.

  • Now, the login will open and to access it enter application number and password.

  • Click on “submit” button and download the admit card of CTET 2018.

How to Download CTET Admit Card 2018 via Application Number and Date of Birth?

  • Click on the link above and follow the step 1 and 2.
  • Then in the window below, choose option for “Download Admit Card through Application Number and Date of Birth” option.

  • Now enter registration number and password.

CTET 2018 Exam Schedule

CBSE has announced the exam date of CTET 2018. As per the notification, the exam will be held on December 9, 2018. All candidates must appear for the exam as per schedule. They should carry officially issued admit card and other requisite documents. Candidates must appear for at that center only which they can see in admit card.

What Documents to Carry to the CTET 2018 Test Center?

On the day of the examination, the candidates need to bring along the following list of documents. Those who will not carry these items, such candidates will not be allowed entry inside the test center:

  1. Print out of the CTET 2018 Admit Card
  2. A valid ID proof such as PAN card, Aadhaar card, Passport, Ration card, Voter ID, and Driving License

To download the CTET 2018 Admit Card, the candidates need to provide the Application Number and Password. However, if you do not remember the Application Number/ Password for CTET 2018 Login, the candidates can retrieve it by following the instructions as below:

How to get your Registration Number for CTET 2018 Login?

  1. Click on the direct link given on this page to go to the Login page
  2. On the Login page, click on the link which says “I can’t access my Account”
  3. Choose the option for retrieving the Registration Number and click on the “Continue” button
  4. Enter details such as your name, mother’s name, father’s name, Date of birth, Category, Paper Applied for. 
  5. Click on the “Submit” button

How to Retrieve your Password for CTET 2018 Login?

  1. Click on the direct link given on this page and you will be directed to the Login page.
  2. On the Login page, click on the link which says “I can’t access my Account”.
  3. Next, choose the option for “I forgot my Password” and then click on the “Continue” button
  4. Now, there are three ways by which you can retrieve your Password which are – using the Security Question & its Answer; using the verification code; using the resent link sent via email 
  5. Choose the relevant option from the three and click on the “Continue” button.

Option 1: Retrieve Password using Security Question and its Answer

  • If you choose Option 1, then you will have to enter details such as Registration Number.
  • Choose the security question and provide its relevant answer. You need to choose the same security question once chosen by you at the time of CTET Registration. 
  • Click on the “Submit” button and your Password will appear on the screen.

Option 2: Retrieve your Password using Verification Code sent via SMS 

  • If you choose option 2, then you will have to provide your CTET Registration Number and Date of birth.
  • Click on the “Submit” button and then enter the verification code which will be sent via SMS
  • On entering the verification code, your Password will be available on the screen

Option 3: Retrieve your Password using the Resent Link sent via Email 

  • If you choose Option 3, you will have to provide your CTET Registration Number and Date of birth.
  • Click on the “Submit” button and then enter the verification code which will be sent via SMS
  • On entering the verification code, your Password will be available on the screen.

If there is any discrepancy in the following details –

  • Particulars of candidate
  • Photo
  • Signature
  • Any difference between details in confirmation page and admit card

CTET 2018 Exam Details

CTET 2018 is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted by CBSE. The purpose of the exam is to determine the eligibility of teachers to teach classes I to VIII in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Candidates who qualify CTET are eligible to become teachers.

Candidates must score at least 60% in CTET Result 2018 in order to qualify. Those who get CTET qualifying certificate that is valid for a period of 7 years from the date of declaration of result.

CTET 2018 Application Form Correction

CBSE is allowing CTET 2018 Application Form Correction in online mode. Candidates who have inadvertently made any errors in application form should make corrections in this time only. Important instructions for form correction are as follows.

  • Application form correction starts on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
  • Last date to edit mistakes in application form is Monday, September 15, 2018.
  • Beyond last date, candidates cannot request any changes in form.
  • Central Board of Secondary Education shall not be responsible for any consequences that arise as a result of correction / addition / deletion in any field.
  • Candidates can edit mistakes in following fields namely name, father and mother name, date of birth, category, differently abled category, paper opted (i.e. paper i or paper ii), subject for paper – ii, first choice of centre, language i and/or ii opted, address of correspondence and the name of the institution/college/university from where he/she has obtained his/her b.ed degree/diploma in elementary education.
  • There shall not be any fee refund.
  • Also keep in mind that form correction is online only at ctet.nic.in. Do not send any offline requests for correction.
