Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar University (DHSGSU) will conduct entrance test for the admission of the candidates in various UG and PG courses. The entrance exam for UG admission is called as UGET, for PG admission it is known as PGET and the P.hD admissions are done through PHDET. All the entrance examinations will be held on June 2, 3, and 4, 2017. The application form for the admission has released. Candidates can apply from the link given on this page. DHSGSU Entrance Test 2017

The selection of the candidates in the various course will indeed be done on the basis of rank secured in the entrance test. However, other factors mentions will also affect the final selection.

  • UG and PG Admission – The merit holder should fulfill the eligibility criteria as well.
  • P.hD Courses – The candidates who will score more than 50% marks will be called for the interview round. Performance in both, entrance exam and interview, will be considered for final selection.

Note: UGC-NET (including JRF) and UGC-CSIR NET ( JRF included) qualifiers need not appear for PHDET. These candidates will be called directly for the interview round.

How to Apply for DHSGSU Entrance Test 2017

The application forms are only available on the official website dhsgu.mponline.gov.in. The candidates can fill and submit the form by following the process below:

  • Access the official website or click on the link above.
  • Choose entrance test – The options will be Apply for UGET 2017-18 (UG-After 12th), Apply for PGET 2017-18 (PG-After Graduation), Apply for another course of UGET 2017-18 (UG-After 12th), Apply for another course PGET 2017-18 (PG-After Graduation)
  • Check the box for ‘I have read all the instructions carefully and accept terms and conditions’
  • Click on ‘Continue to Entrance Test’ button
  • Next, in the application form candidates will have to submit Personal, Qualifying/Educational, Address details.
  • Candidates will also be required to upload a photograph and signature, in the prescribed format.
  • Lastly, the candidates will have to pay the requisite application fee amount.

DHSGSU Application Fee

  • General/OBC/PC – Rs. 800
  • SC and ST – Rs. 400

Note: Portal charges Rs. 50 will be applicable for all the candidates. Also, the reserved category candidates will have to send the caste certificates with the application form, else, the relaxation on fee will not be given.

DHSGSU Entrance Test 2017 Eligibility Criteria

If a candidate has supplementary/ backlog/ATKT in any of the previous semesters, during the counseling, they will not be considered eligible for admission. Apart from this, the candidate will also be considered ineligible for the following eligibility criteria of DHSGSU admission 2017 are not fulfilled

(A) UGET – Minimum Eligibility Requirements

B.A./B.Com./B.B.A./B.Sc./B.C.A./B.Pharm./ B.A.-B.Ed. & B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated/ Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA): Candidate must have passed 10+2/equivalent from a recognized institute. The minimum marks in qualifying exam must be less than 45%. For candidates of SC/ST category, the required minimum marks 40%

  • The upper age limit is 22 years for UR and OBC candidates but for SC/ST candidates it is 27 years, as on July 01, 2017

B.A.LL.B. (Hon) (10 Semesters/5 Years): Candidates must have qualified 10+2 from a recognized regular school. The minimum qualifying marks in 10+ should be 45% but for the SC/ST candidates, it is 40%.

  • No age restriction.

LL.B. (6 Semesters/3 Years): For admission in these courses, the candidates should have qualified the 10+2+3/equivalent examination. It should have been passed from a recognized institute. The minimum marks qualifying marks are the same as above.

  • No age restriction

B.J. (2 Semesters/1Year):  Candidates seeking admission, in this program, must have passed the 10+2+3/equivalent examination from a recognized University or Institution. Candidates must secure at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)

B.Lib.I.Sc: An eligible candidate, for this course, must have qualified 10+2+3 and should have secure at least 50% marks in it. For SC/ST the minimum mark is 45%.

  • The maximum age limit is 30 years for candidates belonging to all the categories.

(B) PGET – Minimum Eligibility Requirements

M.Sc/M.A./M.Com./M.B.A./M.J./MSW/M. Performing Arts (Theatre Arts): Candidates must have passed 10+2+3 and should have secured 45% marks it. The minimum marks for SC/ST candidates is 40%. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognized institute.

  • The maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 27 years (32 years for SC/ST/PC candidates), as on July 01, 2017

M.Tech. (Appl. Geology): During the graduation, one of the major subjects should have been Geology. The aggregate CGPA of the candidate should be at least 45%. (40% for SC/ST candidates)

  • The maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 27 years (32 years for SC/ST/PC candidates), as on July 01, 2017

M. Pharm: Under DHSGSU Admission 2017, for this course, the candidate must have been graduated from B.Pharm, with a minimum of 60% marks (55% fo SC/ST). The candidates should also possess a valid GATE/GPAT score card.

  • The maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 27 years (32 years for SC/ST/PC candidates), as on July 01, 2017

M.C.A: Graduation in any subject will be acceptable but candidates must have had Mathematics in 10+2. The minimum marks in graduation should be more than 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates).

  • The maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 27 years (32 years for SC/ST/PC candidates), as on July 01, 2017

LL.M: It is mandatory for the candidates to pass LL.B. 3 years after graduation or the candidates should have passed five year LL.B under 10+2+5 pattern. The required minimum marks are 50% but for SC/ST category candidates it is 45%.

  • Maximum age limit is 35 years but it is 40 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PC categories. The age will be calculated as on July 01, 2017.

M. Ed: Should have graduated with 50% marks in B.Ed./B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc. B.- Ed/B.L.Ed./D.L.Ed. To SC/ST, relaxation of 5% will be given on the marks.

  • Maximum age limit is 35 years but it is 40 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PC categories. The age will be calculated as on July 01, 2017.

M.Lib.I.Sc: Candidate should have graduated in B.Lib.I.Sc, with 50% marks. SC/ST candidates with more 45% mark, in B.Lib.I.Sc, are eligible.

  • Maximum age limit is 35 years but it is 40 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PC categories. The age will be calculated as on July 01, 2017.
