Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) will release the notification for Admission to First Year of Pharma D in Government, Government Aided and Unaided Institutes for the Academic Year 2020-2021. The Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai is the Competent Authority for admission to First Year of Pharma D 2020-21. Candidates aspiring to take Admission should have obtain qualifying Marks in MHT-CET 2020 or obtained Non Zero Positive Score in NEET. Aspirants should first check the eligibility criteria before filling the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Application Form. DTE Maharashtra Pharma D Admission Eligibility Criteria 2020

All candidates willing to apply for DTE Maharashtra Pharma D Admission will have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra or else the Application form will be rejected. This Eligibility Criteria is based on the Previous Year Information and for reference. Maharashtra State Candidature –

  • The candidate should be an Indian National
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; Or
  • Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State)
  • The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and obtained non zero score in the MHT-CET 2019.

All India Candidature Candidates –

  • The candidate should be an Indian National
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together Or
  • Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State)
  • Should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2019 and obtain non zero score in MH-CET 2019. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MH-CET 2019.

NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National.

  • The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology, and obtained at least 50 % marks in the above subjects taken together Or
  • Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50% marks.
  • Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

DTE Maharashtra Pharma D Admission Application Form 2020

  • CUCET 2021 Application (Phase-1)
  • UPES Dehradun 2021 Application

Students will be notified here as soon as the Application Form is released by the Competent Authority. Candidates should fill the Application Form through Online Mode only from the official website which is mentioned on the top of the article. Candidates should take the printout, upload scanned copies of the required documents and send duly filled in and signed Application Form by speed post/courier/by hand delivery for verification & confirmation to Admission Centre designated by the Competent Authority for admission process. The candidates not appeared for CET conducted by competent authority but appeared for any other CET conducted by appropriate authority can also apply, however such candidates are required to pay the Application Fee.

Application Fee

Candidates must note that the fees paid is non-refundable and no other mode of payment shall be permitted. This Application fee is based on the Previous year Information, if any change occurs we will inform you.

  • For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates & children of Indian workers in Gulf countries is Rs. 800/-.
  • For Reserved Category Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State is Rs. 600/-.
  • For NRI/OCI/PIO/FN Candidates, the application fees are Rs. 5,000/-.

Mode of Payment: Pay the prescribed Application Fee as per your category. Application fee can be paid by following methods:

Seat Allotment Process

After filling the Online Application Form the next step is to understand the Seat Allotment Process for Admission into Various Institutes. We have mentioned the Important Points for process of Seat Allotment In Colleges/Institutes of Maharashtra.

  • When the Allotment Process will start then you can check the full details of Seats in Each Round of CAP here. We will provide the direct link and information on how to check Seats for each Colleges and Institutes.
  • The competent authority will publish the information on the website about institutes, courses offered, Sanctioned intake and number of seats available for each category before each round.
  • Candidates may fill in preferences of Institutes and Courses in decreasing order of their preference as specified by Competent Authority.
  • Candidates may fill in maximum 300 choices of Institutes and Courses in decreasing order of their preference.
  • Display of Provisional Allotment of respective CAP Round indicating alloted Institute and Course.
  • Reporting and accepting the offered seat at Admission Reporting Centre(ARC) by the Candidate as per schedule declared by the Competent Authority.
  • Candidate shall confirm the admission by paying the requisite amount of fee and by submitting required documents in original to respective institute, to which admission is granted as per schedule.

Assignment of Merit Number

The merit list for the Candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks or score secured by the Candidate in the MHT-CET 2019 conducted by the Competent Authority or marks or score secured in any other examination conducted by the concerned appropriate authority for the purpose of admission to these Courses. Provided that, in case of tie, the relative merit of different Candidatures shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below

  • Higher marks or score in Mathematics or Biology at CET
  • Higher marks or score in Physics at CET
  • Higher marks or score in Chemistry at CET
  • Higher percentage of marks in Physics, Mathematics or Biology and Chemistry added together at Board or qualifying examination
  • Higher percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics or Biology at HSC
  • Higher percentage of marks in the subject Physics at HSC.
  • Higher percentage of marks in aggregate in HSC.

The merit list for the NRI /OCI / PIO and Foreign Students Candidates and Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries shall be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology added together at Qualifying examination: Provided that, in case of tie, the relative merit of Candidates shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below

  • Higher percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics or Biology at HSC
  • Higher percentage of marks in the subject Physics at HSC
  • Higher percentage of marks in Aggregate at HSC.

MH CET Pharma D Counselling 2020

MHT CET Counselling will be conducted in online mode through Centralised Counselling Process (CAP) for the candidates who have qualified MHT CET 2020. Option filling process for all the rounds will be conducted by the authorities on the official website. Following seat is being filled through CAP.

  • Maharashtra State Candidature Seats
  • All India Candidature Seats
  • Minority Quota Seats
  • Supernumerary Seats for Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature

Successfully registered candidates will have to report to the admission facilitation centers for verification of documents. Original documents along with a set of self-attested copies have to be presented at the facilitation centers. Candidates who do not report at the facilitation center will not be allowed to proceed further in the admission process. Documents required for MHT CET Counselling 2019

1- How can I freeze my seat which was allotted to me in CAP round 1 because the seat which is allotted to me in CAP round 2 is not satisfactory for me. So what will be the process?

Ans- You have to pay some amount of fee at the time of counselling to freeze the seat.

2- What entrance exams should I prepare to get admission in PharmD after scoring in 12th in Maharashtra?

Ans- MH-CET Conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State is the entrance exam you should prepare after doing 12th.
