DTU M.Des Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility required for admission to Master of Design programmes at Delhi Technological University is described below. Aspirants are suggested to go through the required qualification to be eligible to apply.
Degree- The candidate must possess a professional graduation degree of 4-year duration. Examples of such a degree are B.Tech, BE, B.Arch, B.Des, BFA etc.
Marks in Degree- Merely having a graduate degree is not sufficient. The candidate must have passed graduation with 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates) or equivalent grades.
CEED- The candidate must also qualify Common Entrance Examination for Design 2020 (CEED 2020).

DTU M.Des Admission 2020 Reservation Criteria
The reservation policy followed by DTU while allotting seats is explained here. Candidates can look at the following points to know about reservation percentage category-wise.
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 15% seats are reserved for SC applicants.
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5% of the total seats are kept reserved for candidates belonging to ST category.
- Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL): 27% seats are for candidates belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Out of the total seats, 10% are reserved for EWS candidates.
Note: Sub-categories namely, Defence and Person with Disability (PwD) are available under each category (General, SC, ST, OBC).
DTU M.Des 2020 Admission Process
The flow of the admission procedure is as follows.
Apply- Firstly, candidates have to register and submit the application form.
Appear for DAT and Interview- Next, the candidates have to take Design Aptitude Test and appear for an interview.
Selection List and Waitlist- On the basis of performance in test and interview, DTU releases a list of selected candidates and waitlisted candidates. This list is published on DTU website and department notice boards. Further rounds of counselling/admission are conducted, if seats remain vacant.
Payment of Admission Fee- The selected candidate need to submit the admission fee in the Account section of DTU through a Demand Draft. This DD must be drawn in favour of “Registrar, Delhi Technological University payable at New Delhi”.
Document Verification- At the time of admission, candidates have to produce the relevant documents in original for verification. The list of documents is given below.

DTU M.Des Admission 2020 Fee Structure
The fee structure for Master of Design programmes at DTU is provided below. The selected candidates have to pay the annual fee at the time of admission using a Demand Draft.

Fee Concession: The University offers fee concession to candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections. To be eligible for concession, the annual family income of students must be less than Rs 4,50,000.
