DU JAT 2020 – DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test) has conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission in the Delhi University BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), BA (Hons) Business Economics, BBA in Financial Accounting courses DU JAT. Applicants must pass the Class XII examination of any recognized Board/ University and should have obtained an aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying examination in the best of four subjects. Eligibility Criteria for DU JAT 2020
The eligibility criteria of DU JAT 2020 is to be fulfilled by all the candidate. It is as mentioned below:
- The candidate must have appeared and qualified Senior Secondary School Exam.
- There is no minimum age bar for admission in DU JAT 2020
- Aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying examination based on a simple average of the percentage scored in four subjects: one language English, Mathematics and any two other subjects included in List provided below.
- One language English, Mathematics and two other subjects included in List II

- Any one language (other than English Core / English Elective / Hindi Core / Hindi Elective, offered by CBSE or its equivalent board at 10+2 level)
- Political Science
- Business Studies or Accountancy
DU JAT 2020 Application Form
The application form for DU JAT released as per schedule on the official website, i.e., du.ac.in. The candidates will only be able to access and submit it online. The online registration process is completed only after realization of the online registration fee. The applicant is required to register on the university admission portal to create their personal login ID (username and password). The candidates are required to submit personal, educational, and communicational details in the application form.
Permission to appear in the entrance test is subject to the applicant’s fulfilling the eligibility requirements prescribed for applying to the concerned course of study. The candidates must keep ready an e-mail id and phone number. It will be required while submitting the application form. Furnishing unauthentic details in the application form will harm the candidature.

Mode of Payment: The candidates can pay the application fee as given above by Online mode only using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
DU JAT 2020 Admit Card
The candidates who successfully register for the entrance exam before the last date by making complete payment will be issued the admit card. It is a mandatory document which an applicant need to carry on the day of the test. Digital copy of the DU JAT 2020 Admit Card will not be allowed inside the test center. To download DU JAT Admit Card, you need to log in by entering your Form number and Mobile Number It consists of details of the exam such as date, timings, the address of the test center, etc.
DU JAT Exam Pattern 2020
The entrance examination shall be conducted as per schedule in two shifts.
The question papers of each shift will be different to give a fair and level competition. This may lead to slight differences in difficulty level on each shift. To ensure that comparison of marks is fair, marks will be normalized by using the EquiPercentile Equating procedure.
The entrance exam will be of two hours duration based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) (four choices each) designed to evaluate the aptitude of the applicants. The following areas are included in the entrance test:
- Quantitative Ability
- Reasoning and Analytical Ability
- General English
- Business and General Awareness
- There will 100 questions.
- Each correct answer will get a score of plus 4 marks,
- For each wrong answer will get a score of minus 1 mark and questions not answered will get a score of zero marks.
DU JAT 2020 Selection
Selection will be based on the rank computed from the combined weighted average of percentage scored in the entrance test and the percentage scored in the qualifying examination where the weights are:
- Entrance Test: 65%,
- Qualifying Examination: 35%.
Selection in a final Merit list does not guarantee admission to an applicant. Admission is subject to the availability of seats in a course/college for the relevant ECA sub-category.
Normalization of marks will be done after test on all shifts are concluded for the same subject. Merit ranking of candidates will be done on the basis of normalized marks. The following factors are important in determining the merit ranking.
- Number of test takers
- The difficulty level of examination
- Maximum marks obtained in the examination.
- Average score obtained by candidates.

DU JAT 2020 Answer Key
After the entrance exam is conducted, the Delhi University releases the Answer Key for the Joint Admission Test. The JAT 2020 Answer Key shall be released a week or two after the exam. With the release of the DU JAT Answer Key, the candidates are also provided with an opportunity to submit an objection in the key. An online facility is provided to the candidates to track the objection submitted by them. On the basis of the objection submitted by the candidate, the University then releases a final answer key.
DU JAT 2020 Result
The University of Delhi publishes the result for DU JAT 2020 online at its official website. It is released in the pdf format and consist of details such as Form Number, Name of the candidates, best 4 subject marks, JAT score, Category-wise rank. The candidates who qualify the entrance exam will then be eligible to submit their preference of college and course. The scores of candidates taking up the entrance examination shall be subjected to a Normalization Process. Furthermore, the percentile ranks so calculated will be used as input criteria to finalize the merit list.
