How to Download FDGE 2020 Admit Card?
FDGE admit card releases in the online mode only. Check the steps given below to download it.
Step 1: First of all, click on the direct link of the admit card given above on this page.
Step 2: Next, click on the ‘Download FDGE 2020 admit card’ link.
Step 3: Then, enter the required details like application number and date of birth in the space provided.

Step 4: Now, check the particulars mentioned on the admit card and download it.
Step 5: Lastly, take 2-3 printouts of the admit card for future references.
Note: The center of FDGE is only in Delhi / NCR. The exact address for the exam center is informed via admit card. Once the admit card is issued, requests for the change in exam center are not entertained.
Specification for Image to be Affixed on FGDE 2020 Admit Card
After downloading the admit card for FDGE 2020, the candidates need to affix a latest passport size photograph on it. The photograph must be as per the specifications given below.
- The size of the photograph must be 35 x 45 mm (not larger than the box printed on the admit card for pasting the photograph). Also, 75% of the area on the photograph must be occupied with head and face of the candidate.
- The photograph must be coloured with white background
- The expression in the photograph must be neutral.
- The candidates must not have worn any goggles, stethoscope, caps, sunglasses in the photograph
- The photograph should not have any reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes
- The photograph must not have any scratches and stains
- The photograph must be printed on a high quality paper with at least 600 dpi resolutions
Note: The name of the candidate on the photo identification must match with the name as shown in FDGE 2020 admit card. If the candidates have changed their name due to marriage etc, then the candidates must show the relevant document to prove this claim of name changing (Marriage certificate / Divorcee Decree / Legal Name Change Document / Gazette notification for name change).

Any electronic device: Mobile phones, bluetooth, earphone, microphone, pager, wrist watch / health band, calculator, electronic pen / scanner etc
Any ornaments: Bracelets, rings, earrings, nose-pin, chain / necklace, pendants, badge, brooch etc
Any eatable item (opened or packed), sift drinks etc
Other items like wallets, handbags, goggles, belt, cap etc
Any other item that could be used as a hiding communication device like wireless / bluetooth device, spy camera etc

FDGE 2020 Demo Test
A demo test shall be available for the benefit of the candidates. The candidates can appear for the demo test to know about the format of computer-based test.
FDGE 2020 Exam Pattern

FDGE is a computer-based test. It consists of 2 papers in total. In both the papers, the candidates are required to attempt multiple-choice questions. The duration of Paper 1 is 120 minutes whereas, Paper 2 is of 180 minutes. There is a break of 2 hours in between both the papers.
The medium of the paper is English. The total number of questions asked are 100 and 150 for Paper 1 and 2 respectively. Each question is of equal weightage. For every correct answer, 01 mark is awarded. No marks are deducted in case of the wrong answers.

Viva-Voce Examination for BDS: After qualifying both the papers of FDGE, the candidates are required to appear for Viva-Voce examination. In this examination, there will be 2 examiners. There will be one internal from the examining university and one external from other university. The examiners that will be appointed will be at par with the qualifications mentioned for the examiners in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 and MDS Course Regulations, 2007 and 2017.
Viva-Voce Examination is of total 50 marks and candidates are required to secure minimum 25 marks out of 50.
FDGE 2020 Test Day Guidelines
The candidates can check the important instructions given below that have to be followed on the day of the examination.
Socially Distanced Computer Based Test – The test will be conducted as per social distancing norms. The exam will be conducted in a safe and secure environment using touch free processes.
Entry time – The candidates are required at the reporting counter of the test venue as indicated in the admit cards. The reporting counter shall close 30 minutes prior to the test start time. In this time, identity verification and checking for the examination will take place.
No friends and friends allowed to the exam centre – The candidates are not allowed to appear for with friends and relatives at the exam centre under any circumstances.
Bar code / QR code at entry points – The candidates are required to flash the admit card and id proof for the verification to the exam functionary standing across the table with barcode / QR code reader. After this, the candidates are informed the lab number.
Use of Thermo guns – At the entry point, the candidates will be checked at the entry point for fever with thermo guns. If in case, the candidate has the temperature ( >99.14 Degree F) or any symptoms of COVID-19, the candidates are required to give the examination in a separate isolation lab.
No arrangement for keeping the articles of the candidates – There shall be no arrangement of keeping the articles / items belonging to the candidates. If in case, the candidate have any of the barred items in the exam centre after the security check point, then it will be considered as unfair means.
No Finger Biometrics at the test centre – There shall be no finger biometrics at the exam centre at the time of registration at the test venue. However, photograph of the candidates shall be taken on the exam day. The face id will be verified at the time of registration at each bio-break against the photograph uploaded in the application.
Understand Invigilator’s instructions – The candidates are required to listen to the instructions of invigilator carefully. Each workstation will be blocked from three sides – front, right and left. Also, the candidates are not advised to look around at the other candidates as there shall be surveillance cameras.
Direction to the computer terminal – After the face capture and verification of id, the candidates are escrorted to their respective computer terminals at the test centre following the social distancing norms. An invigilator will assist the candidate for check-in process of the test.
Identity Checks: At FDGE 2020 test centre, identity checks shall be made upon the arrival of the candidates. This is done to ensure that no unauthorized candidates appear for the examination.
E-aadhar card: If in case, any candidate appear with e-aadhar card as a valid id proof then, it should be of good quality with clear photograph. The photograph must not have any stains or scratches and should match with the identity of the candidate showing e-aadhar.
No manual attendance and frisking: No manual attendance with signature and ink finger print shall be taken socially distanced computer-based test. Also, no frisking (Body pat as well as HHMD) shall take place this time.
Verification of the candidates: The staff at the test centre will be authorized to check the identity of the candidates. The staff might verify and record the identity of the candidates and the candidates are required to cooperate with the staff.
Prohibited materials: Any candidate who is found in possession of electronic device or mobile phones shall be liable for penal action.
In case of any technical errors, following actions shall be taken

- Use / possession of electronic gadgets
- If the candidate has tampered any government / non-governmental documents
- If any candidate is found copying from notes or from any body parts
- If during the examination, the candidate is exchanging answer book or question paper with solution or talking to a person or consulting notes or books outside the examination hall
- Changing the seat / examination system without the permission of Suprintendent / incharge of computer lab
- Forgery in photo identification / documents at the time of entry of the test
- Peeping into the computer system of the other candidate
- Threatening the officials or other candidates
- Tampering the information technology systems of NBE or technology partners or computer laboratory
- If the candidate refuses to obey the Superintendent
- Trying to communicate / contact the other candidates during the exam

Foreign Dental Graduate Examination (Screening Test) is an examination conducted by NBE. This is a test conducted for the Indian citizens / OCI possessing primary dental qualifications awarded by dental institutions outside India. It is a computer-based test and consists of two question papers in total. Both the papers are conducted in a single day. There is no negative marking in the test in case of wrong answers.
