How to Get GATE 2020 Enrollment ID?
There are two (02) options by which you can get the GATE enrollment ID. These are:
Option 1 – By email id
The first option to get the enrollment id for GOAPS is to check your email id. It is sent to the candidates while registering for the examination. If you do not find the enrollment id in your inbox, then you must check your spam folder as sometimes message gets stored there.
Option 2 – Print out of application form
The 7-digit enrollment id is also printed on your GATE application form. It is mentioned on the top of the application page.
How to Get Password for GATE 2020 Login?
In case if you do not remember your password to access GATE 2020 login, then you can retrieve it by simply following the instructions as provided below.
Step 1: Click here to get your password.
Step 2: In the next screen, you can either click on the ‘request for an OTP’ button or if you already have an OTP then click on the ‘already have an OTP’ button.
Step 3: After this, enter your mobile number, email id / enrollment id in the specified fields.
Step 4: Click on the ‘reset password’ button to submit the details and then you will get a One Time Password via SMS / Email on your registered email id / mobile number.
Step 5: Enter the OTP. Submit and then finally you can reset your login password.
Step 6: If you chose the other option which is if you already have an OTP, then you need to enter your enrollment id / email id, OTP, and then create your new password.
Step 7: Click on the ‘save new password’ button to submit the details and after this, your new password will be updated.
Specifications for Creating Password for GOAPS Login
For creating the password, candidates should take a look at the specification as provided below.
- It should not be an easy guess password.
- Do not write your name, date of birth or some string of numbers or letters like 1234 as your password.
- Length of the password should be 8-15 characters.
- Include a mix of numbers, symbols, capital letters, and lower-case letters.
What is GOAPS?
GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) 2020 is a facility provided by IIT. It is the candidate login which is to be used by the students for applying, editing details, checking the application status, etc. To create GOAPS account, you need to register for the GATE entrance exam by entering your full name, email id and creating a new password.
