Issues faced in downloading GATE 2020 admit card
A. 503 service unavailable
The 503 service unavailable error is technically speaking, an HTTP response status code. It basically means that server is facing too much traffic and is therefore unable to perform.
In this situation, the candidate cannot take any action. He / she can only wait for the issue to be taken care of by the server administrators.
B. 504 gateway timeout error
This is again a HTTP status code. It means that one of the servers did not get a response from another server on time. You may see any of the following error status at such times 504 Gateway Timeout, HTTP 504, 504 ERROR, Gateway Timeout (504), HTTP Error 504 – Gateway Timeout, Gateway Timeout Error.
In this case also the trouble is usually not the candidate’s device. However it is prudent to try once on a different internet connection. Otherwise, one has to simply wait it out until the server starts responding properly again.
C. Access to requested page denied
Now this one is not a server issue.
This may happen if you have tried to login with incorrect credentials more than a fixed number of times, that is limited by the website. If you see this issue, first of all check your login credentials. And then, login using incognito mode of the browser.
