GATE Admit Card 2020 Download by IIT Delhi at gate.iitd.ac.in
IIT Delhi has released the GATE 2020 admit card on January 3, 2020, at 7 pm. All candidates who had applied for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can now download their hall tickets from gate.iitd.ac.in, and appsgate.iitd.ac.in. It is mandatory to carry the officially issued GATE admit card on the exam date at the exam center. Here are 5 things you ought to know about this.

1. What is registration ID in GATE?
Though a lot of candidates are asking this question today, they may note that there is no such thing as registration ID. You are probably referring to the enrollment ID. In GATE exam, enrollment ID is also known as the GOAPS enrollment ID, which is the unique identifying number provided to each candidate when he or she submitted their registration. You can check your enrollment ID in the email that you received from IIT Delhi when you had applied.
2. Can we download admit card without enrollment ID?
Yes, you can download GATE 2020 admit card without their enrollment IDs. To do so, you can
- Either use email ID to login
- Or use the forgot enrollment ID link on appsgate.iitd.ac.in to first get your enrollment ID.
3. How to download the admit card?
You need to go to the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) whose direct link is appsgate.iitd.ac.in. Then, you need to login with your enrollment id or email id, and password. Upon logging in, you will be able to see a download admit card link, and using it, you can download the same.
4. Is the admit card alone enough to get entry at the exam center?
No, you need to carry the following items to the exam center in order to get entry.
- A printout of the GATE 2020 admit card
- Original and valid photo identity proof, same as the one you specified at the time of registration
- If you are an international candidate then you need a valid passport or government issued ID or college ID or employee ID
5. Should the admit card be printed in color or black and white?
It is recommended that you print the admit card in color, instead of black and white. Also note that you should not bring soft copy (PDF or JPEG) of the admit card and attempt to get entry using that. Because first of all you cannot carry your mobile phone to the center.
