GATE 2020 Result | GATE 2020 Cutoff
Expected cutoff: 25 around. Cutoff will fall this year as per initial reactions.
Topics asked: Diode based, analog circuit, Mosfet, machine, suguna machine, power system, chopper related questions, cylindrical coordinate, signal systems, load flow.
Microprocessor questions were asked that was a surprise. As this topic was asked after 3 to 4 years in GATE EE paper.
Weightage of topics:
- 9 to 10 question came from EMT and analog electronics. They were tough and had good weightage. Candidates attempting these questions correctly can expect a good score.
- 14 to 15 questions were from signal systems. The candidates who did these questions correctly must be comfortable, as these questions are the deciding factor of this paper.
